How does the pvc compare to balsa in buoyancy, do you use same amount of ballast in same size pvc bait as you do balsa?

How do you guys go about the weighting your balsa cranks, specifically flatsides which is what im starting out on. Im twisting my own eyes but havent come up with a good way on the lead part yet short of doing my own molds...thx

I just recarpeted my 18ft Landau, i used both outdoor carpet adhesive and the spray on adhesive(mostly for the hatch lids). Be sure to get all the old adhesive off(sand,scrape,adhesive remover). I kept each piece of carpet i took off, marked it, and used it as a rough pattern for the new pieces, keep your grain all running the same direction, looks better.
