  1. Can y'all compare these rods for me on balance, weight, quality. Thanks, I like both and can't make a desicion
  2. Well I went looking yesterday and man this nitro z7 looks very clean and fit and finish looks good.. It had hot foot and blinker trim. I would have to upgrade the tm to a fortrex 80#, and add a 6" jp.. Is the jp even needed? I'm not worried about if it's the top other brand names because, I have been fishin from a 15' duck boat with a 25 hp motor. So this will be a huge upgrade.. So please all info is needed and all yalls thoughts on this purchase!!!! Hopefully I can find a good lookig color!! Thanks everyone!!
  3. Well the deck is smaller and I want to be able to flip with 2 people on the front deck. I have ridden in the xpress but I was the standard HD hull, and I have the HD hull style duck boat.
  4. So yall like those rods!! Hard to know with out feeling them!
  5. So what their number to call about them imagination rods
  6. Ok I'm looking for a good quality telescoping flipping rod.. I want to spend around 160$ something light and sensitive and well balanced.. Going this route because of storage.
  7. Yes I'm sorry, how long of a rod can be stored in the locker? Both seem like good boats.
  8. How ling if a rod can be stored in the xpress boat
  9. ok looking for some new rods still.. what would be some good Falcon lowrider for the following things... would the Falcon lowrider AOY rod cover some of these techniques? pitchin - flippin - hollow body swimbaits - cranks ( shallow to medium) ( medium to deep) topwater spinnerbaits, chatterbaits, lipless cranks weightless (senko, flukes) Frog rod - thanks
  10. ok both boats will have 115 opti or 115 pro xs, 24v fortrex 80# tm, 6" cmc jackplate. both run in the 18k $ range... which would yall choose !!!! ?? :-?
  11. for the guys using the small aluminum rigs where do yall pu your rods while fishing ?
  12. Ya know I have been lookin to buy a new bass rig for the last 2 years but just have never pulled the trigger on anything. I was prepared to spend up to 45k on a new rig... What I have now is a xpress 1548 duck boat that I have had for 12 years or so. I have fished, duck hunted, jugged, bowfished, and road a many of backwater in that rig!!!.. Just a great boat. I have looked and read and looked and read for 2 years about buying a new boat!! But just can't seem to pull the trigger, and I always get back into my little aluminum rig and fish just as hard as if I had a 21 foot rig with a 250.. You know these new big rigs are extremely nice and got plenty of storage and fly down the lake too, but do I really need all that???? I seem to keep coming back to aluminum for some strange reason. So I have been looking at the xpress and g3 boats.. What ever I do I know I want 2 side imaging units, and dual powerpoles, and the fortrex minnkota tm. So is it crazy that I want such a small rig, I would at least want to upgrade to 16-18 foot aluminum rig with maybe a 60-90 hp motor.. What do y'all think?? Down here in the delta we fish oxbows, cypress brakes, small to large lakes and rivers. Anyhow let me know if my thoughts are getting caught up in all the big Rig vs little aluminum rig??
  13. Also what bill lenghts = certain depths..?
  14. What epoxy or sealer do y'all use to seal the paint on after the last coat ?
  15. Me too, I'm raring to build some cranks this way.... I went and bought some PVC !!
