letting senkos sit in the sun
My friend is convinced that if he leaves the senkos bent up in the sun they have better action. I think that it just sweats the salt right out of them. I will say this though. They do seem to keep the action, just doesnt sit well with me. Just wondering other peoples opinions about if this is a good thing to do with the senkos or if hes just imagining that this sit in the sun all bent up trick really works. Let me know

What creates a "Big Bass?"
Alright i agree, but if food and time are the main thing with bass growing. Then why do bass grow slower and live longer in the north, and grow faster but dont live as long in the south. Shouldnt that make the bass get bigger in the north. Has to do with being able to eat more forage all year round and the metabolism not slowing down do to snow. In Wisconsin our state record is around 11lbs. Then I see all these guys from the south or Cali....ect.ect. and these Bass dont even look real Which on a side note, screw you guys, you lucky #@%\ . Hope we get more post this subject. Already got some good stuff brewing.

Carrot Stix, Shimano Castaic, Persuader Echip jig......
have been out a few times with the 7' M LTX spinning carrot stix and have loved it so far. The weight is great and sensitivity is great. I have used with cranks and jigs and have had no problem and have felt everything. Just my opinion. Brought in a 4lbs from 7ft on an evo jig and the rod felt good and did what its supposed to do.

Help i have no structure or weeds
Alright i have been out to our usual fishing spot in wisconsin. The lake is a drainage lake that goes to 65ft. Problem is they just killed out the weeds last year and it is still looking a little bare. Every drop off i find there is no structure or weeds around. Seems i catch fish on bends that seem to lessen the current for the fish to sit and be lazy but i really want to go deeper to find bigger fish. Any suggestions or questions about what else the lake is like i will answer.
