  1. ActionJack - thanks so much. I got on their website and got what I needed. I had no idea. I threw the rod in a corner and was just going to salvage the guides. Thanks again. BTW - every bass boat should have collapsable cleats on it. It should be mandatory
  2. Seriously? Even though it was my fault? What do I need to do, go to their website for more info?
  3. I just broke a $99 St. Croix 3 weeks ago on a dang boat cleat. Sickening I tell ya, sickening...
  4. I just found it, thanks. Habeeb? Is that it's official name? Wow. I still need tourny info. I actually met the guy once at a Shawnee Tournament, but I can't remember his name.
  5. Can anyone give me any information on Rocky Gap Lake, near Cumberland, MD? I've never been there, but I hear they have small tournaments there. I'm looking for tournament info, especially contact info of the person who has them. Is the lake clear, stained, etc. Any hot bait tips? Lots of cover, or barren? Deep, shallow? etc.
  6. I haven't talked to Randy yet, but I had heard there weren't going to be any due to the poor water quality. They should be treating the water soon with the copper sulfate. I have a bad feeling it could be quite some time until that lake recovers. You can still catch a few quality bass there, we even won a tournament there last year, but it is nothing like it was 8 years ago. I was up there a few weeks ago and seen where they completely cleared another bank for the bank fisherman. PLUS, they removed one of the very few trees in the water. They have NO clue as far as the needs of the fish or the fisherman. All they seemed to be concerned about is the swimmers and the city slickers. Sorry... I get upset when I talk about what has happened at that lake.
  7. Am I the only one sad to see the water level back up? We had a good year when the water was down (a 1st and a 2nd). I'm hoping our "hot spots" will still hold fish even though they'll be considerably deeper this year. We went up a few weeks ago and had a pretty good day on some active suspended bass. When they were really feeding, I think you could've put your finger in the water and got bit. It's not a bad lake. I used to hate it, until we figured it out. Well, ya never totally figure any lake out, lol. But we finally have some confidence there. I have noticed that the bass seem to run a little skinny there. There's a big difference in weight on, say an 18 incher from the MG, and an 18 incher from other lakes. With the probability of no tournaments at Shawnee this year, how can I get information about tournaments at Rocky Gap?
