  1. Let me get this straight. You and your girlfriend are alone (presumably) You're already nude. And you go fishing? That's what I call a true outdoorsman.
  2. I rig them weightless also, with a 3/0 or 4/0 hook. I have trouble casting them with BC's though. I mainly use spinning tackle.
  3. Birds fly. Rabbits hop. Squirrels rustle. Deer tip toe quieter than an assasin. Come to think of it, the only thing that walks is people :-/ ;D
  4. I'll take the heat over the bugs.
  5. Update. 84 outside 85 inside I would go outside, but then there's the mosquitoes...
  6. Was that the same school that you had to walk 10 miles to get to...in the snow...uphill...barefoot...while being chased by snow leopards... ;D Give me a break. I'm still hot.
  7. Is it just me or are the mods going power happy I'd expect LBH to say that, but not the great boss himself.
  8. Air went out about 7pm today. Hopefully we can get this thing fixed soon. Right now it's almost 9pm and it's 90 degrees outside, 82 inside. This weeks highs: Tues- 99 Wed- 101 Thurs-102 Fri-102 :'( I think LBH has something to do with this.
  9. Very interesting if that is true...
  10. I absolutly love the jointed crank. Runs a little left, but that can be fixed. It was my first one to joint. I haven't tried a full body yet. These were my first cranks that I cut my own lips for and used my own wire instead of screw eyes. I proud of the result. They came out much better than I had hoped for. Thanks for the nice words. (and the profanity ;D)
  11. Sure I do. I started hunting with my dad at a very young age. I own a .270 Remington 700, (deer) a Remington 870 20 gauge (dove, ducks, squirells, TURKEY), and a Ruger .22. I also have an old Vietcong SKS that my uncle gave to me a few years back, and a WWII Type 99 rifle that my grandpa brought back home. I love to turkey hunt. There's just something special about it.
  12. Here's a few I made recently. Enjoy
  13. That's horrible. Prayers to the family.
  14. LBH can not reply. There was a horrible explosion in RI. :'(
  15. Heck, I hammer em' up here in AR with black and blue. I would guess a dragging retrieve would imitate a slowly moving craw. And hopping would represent a fleeing one. What ever the reason, i know that it works.

  18. Well, I hate to break it to you, but you can't just make a few. This stuff is addicting! Here's a good article on cranks http://bassresource.com/fishing/crankbait_making.html I don't know anything about pouring, but here's a few more articles. http://bassresource.com/fishing/crankbait_making.html http://bassresource.com/fishing/pouring_plastic_worms.html http://bassresource.com/fishing/pouring_plastic_worms_supplies.html
  19. I'm with file mob on this one. Bass do that. One day you'll be hammering them, the next you'll catch nothing. It just takes time and patience.
  20. AMEN! I'm still thinking "what if"
  21. Two approaches: 1) Reaction baits. MAKE them bite. 2) Live bait.
  22. Wow, tell us how they work out!
  23. Hey guys... meet me in the young anglers forum. I've got a plan
