  1. Thanks for the heads up! Bucketmouth, not all of us are trophy hunters
  2. I'll agree with you there. (But I'd personally get yet a replica made ) My criteria would just be my first DD bass
  3. Nice one RW In Arkansas she weighs in at 16.4. My PB weighing in at 11.2... Brings me up to 68%. But, like the rest of us, I'm still waiting for the big one 8-)
  4. Ouch, that's tough. Here's the difference between boys and girls in high school. If two guys get into it, they fight...then it's over. Two chicks get into it...rumors start, cars get keyed, it just goes on an on. Anyway, best of luck catching the culprit.
  5. How about "The Super-Sized Cup" ;D
  6. It happens to the best of us That's why it's called fishing and not "catching". My advice: Pick up your rod and try it again!
  7. Please explain in full. Id like to hear why BASS cant learn... Could you learn with a brain the size of a peanut? MOST of the actions that bass do are rather by instincts and not reasoning.
  8. ;D Now that's good...I've never seen it before ;D Thanks
  9. to the forums!
  10. To the forums!!
  11. ;D ;D Old guy's are too clever sometimes...
  12. *Gasp* Went today.....at pond that we WORE them out last week.... Didn't do so great. I think the solunar tables effect fishing, but are not a determining factor.
  13. I will agree that every fishing trip is perfect (but some are better than others) My perfect trip would have to be on beautiful lake powell, but with a AWESOME topwater bite going.
  14. What would you consider the perfect fishing trip. Considering lake, location, weather, equipment, time etc...?
  15. Keep your spirits up too Ed. She is still in our prayers.
  16. That's all I have to say
  17. WELCOME!!! This may be the best thing you've done this year!
  18. Alright guys.... don't make a kid give you a lecture. (Gotta Love It --- let's not get too optimistic ;D)
  19. One of my friends first got me into fishing about 2 years ago. He practically taught me everything. But as I've learned on this site, I've been able to explain to him things he never knew about. Things like fish behavior, fishing deep, etc. He'd never thrown a jig or crank before in his life before I met this site. Now he absolutely loves fishing jigs. Anybody here got a similar story?
  20. Welcome to summer (late spring..) fishing. As the temps rise, the fish will locate in deeper water. In the morning they will come up to the shallows to feed, then cruise back down to a deeper depth. Because of this, locations that offer a quick change in depth that allow the fish to go from shallow to deep water quickly is the ticket. If you cant find that, try fishing areas shaded by nearby trees.

I know what you mean avid. Every second of the finale I was expecting something unexpected. I guess we'll never know what happened next.
  22. OH NO......No you didn't....... Guys...HE DIDN'T DO IT.....I CAN PROVE IT! :
  23. You defiantly did the right thing. I messed up both my ankle and my knee in basketball, and never sat down and let it heal properly. They still hurt me to this day(mostly my knee) and I haven't played ball in two years. There is only one thing I learned from basketball: a sprained ankle hurts like heck, but the bucket of ice is a whole lot worse :-[
  24. Oh. That's why I didn't know what you were talking about ;D
  25. Nice cow ;D I'm looking forward to the day that I get enough tackle to dedicate a room to...
