  6. Has anyone used one of these buzz baits? I was on there web site and watched the buzz bait in action. Looks cool but I don't know if it is just another buzz bait or is it every thing they say it is? I was at Sportsmans Warehouse and they had them , they look good and solid!
  7. OK, Now I have to buy more Chatterbaits! But what do boys think are the better colors? I fish in SE.Wisconsin and clear water to darker green color lakes!

  10. I do alot of bass fishing and one thing I was never clear to me about graphite rods,so maybe some of you can clear this up for me! Alot of rods say that they have like 45 millions graphite or 85 millions graphite.I know the higher the number the more feel that that rod has and the lighter the rod. What I don't understand when a rod is a IM-7 or a IM-8,Im-10, this does not tell me how much graphite the rod has.The Im-rods are cheaper than the higher millions rods also. Can anyone help me out on the IM rods as to how much graphite they have? :-?
  11. I want to start to fish more slop with frogs like the Horney toad and the Sizmic frog. What are THE BEST HOOKS TO USE? I was told the Zoom Horney Toad hook is the best, what do you boys think?
  12. I like to swim a jig at night.I go a 1/2 oz to 3/8 oz.I swim them over weeds, rocks.deep docks, points, outside weed edge. I like to fish black, brown, white, jigs with the same color trailer. But the trailers I use are Sizmic frogs, horny toads,Bat Wing frogs, and it you had a front come in then I will down size my jigs.
  13. Our craws up in the lakes I fish in Wisconsin are like a greenpumpin with orange claws. A good way to find out what your color craws are,is to put the bass in your live well and the bass will spit up a craw or parts of them or what they are feeding on,shad ect.
  14. Table Rock in Mo. I have good lakes here. And I have fished all over the country, but the Rock just stands out as the one I like the most!!!!!
  15. We were fishing tube jigs, and I hooked a nice smallmouth and he broke my line. A short time later my son hooked a smallmouth and it had my tube in his mouth. The smallie was about 4 lbs.=And the bass were in there summmer pattern. This has happened more than once to us.
  16. YES,YES, the moon has alot to do with fishing or hunting.I fish alot at night and found that 3 days before or after the full moon is very good.BUT I do better on the new moon and the cresent moon. Now alot has to do with weather and how clear the water is that you are fishing.
  17. They are good times to bass fish. I guide alot at night and have keep logs over the years. The very best times are at night! And all my big bass have come from midnight to sunup. With the best of them times between 1 AM and 5 30 AM.
  18. Check out this site campmor.com and hit sunglasses and eyeware and then in the upper left hand corner hit hot deals.
  19. Billybob could not have said it any better! We also drag a jig with a Zoom dead ringer as the trailer. I had a guide show me this on Table Rock lake and it works great !
  20. YES, We won a tournament this last Sun. doing this.We had 20.5lbs. and we lost 3 big bass in this one over hanging tree,we fished for 6 hrs. and had over 30 bass in the boat.We were skipping senkos T- rigged under the tree. The big bass we lost ,one was a good 5lbs and the other two were over 6 lbs. of the bass we came to the scale with were 2lbs. to 4 lbs. ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D
  21. First, don't fish the same baits as he is.I fish alot of tournaments as the boater and as a non boater. And I have done very well in the back of the boat and at times I smoked the boater. If he is using a jig I fish a senko, if he is using a crank,I use buzz bait or a spinnerbait ,if he is flippin, pitchin,or skippin say a fluke then I would fish a Zoom baby brush hog, I hope you get the idea. Fell free to IM me if I can be any more of a help. I am a Rep for 3 bait companys so I need to do well in touraments at the back of the boat. Dan
  22. Try fishing soft jerk baits like flukes. A jig n pig, topwaters, and T rig worms and tubes.
  23. Try this www.bigbitebaits.com I have been using them for along time and are as good as the senko and alot less money. ;D
  24. Maybe you need to use a bigger hook.I see alot of bass fisherman fish a senko and are useing too small of a hook. For a 5in. senko I use 2/0 or a 3/0 off set worm hook and fish it wacky.
  25. Yes I have used them too, and I like them also. They have a nice tail and many colors to pick from.
