  5. maybe try FISHING with someone elses high end rods...i think you will def tell a difference!! You wont know till you fish one...not just hold one in the store.
  6. take a look at the Dobyns Savvy line up...i love mine i got the SS703SF 7ft med..very sensitive rod! I got mine paired with a pflueger supreme.

  13. yes you will want to bring your boat...as there is not much shoreline to fish. Plus you wont get to see alot of the good sections with out a boat...if you have small gas motor bring that also.
  14. yea i like sandy alot...i fish it over 50 times a year. I either go briery or sandy...i make my mind up on the way on which lake i want to fish. That place "sandy" can also look like a walmart parking lot on nice days. And you can almost guarantee to get checked by the warden so make sure your legal! Other then that GREAT place to fish!! 10hp max for those who dont know...

  16. Welcome to the boards!! i just got my savvy 7ft M and love it!! i got a Pflueger Supreme on it and feels good and light!! I love the rod!! For Shimano i like the 2500 size...

  18. i have ran walmart deep cycle batteries for last few years...no probs! I would be scared of shipping fees on a heavy battery like that if ordering online...
