the oil is fine i think. The 2 strokes are notorious for dirty carbs though. I'd have the carb cleaned or rebuilt. Not a big deal to have done, its usually included in a full service.

who prefers live bait over lures??

i have a 12 ft. boat i'm rebuilding right now. I like this size because its nice and manueverable in tight coves, ponds, etc.

i haven't had much experience with bait casters, but am looking to get one. Do you need a heavier lure with them?

my friend has offered to sell me a 7.5 hp. Sears Gamefisher outboard motor for my 12 ft. bass boat. Its been in storage for a few years, but it was running when he put it away. I figured with a service, it would be ok. He wants 200 dollars. Is this a good deal?
