Yo Zuri hybrid
Which yozuri hybrid line do you use for baitcasters? I know the Ultra Soft is supposed to be a spinning line; however I know some people are using them on baitcasters. What is the advantage?

any peacock bass fishermen in here? i need some tips!
I don't know how the peacocks behave in North America, but I would give a try to x-raps, Zara Spook Jr, Rebel Jumpin' Minnow T-10. Fish them fast. Bone colors are the best. Right before it gets dark is the best time. Try the BONE/CHARTREUSE T-10.

Isn't this fish also called snakehead? There is a similar fish here, it is called Traira. I have a photo of a small one, but I can not post it yet.

Peacock Bass Question
Peacocks bass are from the Amazon, but nowadays they can be found in most areas of Brazil. The 20+ can only be found in the Amazon, but there are other kinds of peacock bass that can tolerate colder weather however they are smaller (like the blue and the yellow peacock bass). The colder place they live in South America now is the reservoir of Itaipu Dam, however many fish still die during the winter.

dogfish?
Does anyone have a photo of a dogfish?

Brazil pictures
That is sad, the fish probably died. That is not something a guide should do. Trairão is a great fish.

Imakatsu Trairao
Made about 5 trips there in years past and remember when this style or design first got going. Maybe next time I go, I need to chase them down. Haven't heard how effective they are with the bass here but will ck around for info. Big O The favorite color over here for peacock bass is #19. Rummors say that the rattle of this bait was based on the rattle of an brazilian bait named DR. SPOCK from KV baits. Some people are using it for blue fish too.

Imakatsu Trairao
Those are great for peacock bass. Their price in Brazil is ridiculous.
