I'm a mix of all of the above. I fish all water, master of some parts but know them all pretty well. I can catch on pretty much anything that anyone else could catch on but have narrowed the choices down to conserve time, money. As for my style, I do it all other than running and gunning. That would be done in the salt though.

Dredge time,lol. That's a bummer. I take 2 rods at night myself. I sent a Kistler Magnesium overboard last yr. It was approximately 30 minutes old. The cork wasn't even dirty yet! I havn't given up on it yet. Nathan has a winter suit for diving and is going back down after ice out when water clarity will be much better. Good luck in getting yours back!!

Think about it,....me, fluke and Tex bass pro are sittin' in Birch cove on a bunch of 8 lbrs, aside from the fact that I am using a cast for kids rod, tex is using his daughters red n yeller rod and fluke is sportin' a snoopy deluxe,....you think we're tellin Texas fish and game?

Well, I'm home. Back on the board that is! What a great week we had in Vegas. We had lots of great discussion regarding the future of CAST for kids and about how we can all help each other learn from each other by sharing ideas and resources. My compliments to Jim Owens for running a convention that noone minded being at. Not easy to do. I was not bored for a single second. The relaxed atmosphere and general positivity of being around such a class of people just wouldn't allow it. I met lots of fantastic folks and look forward to getting to know everyone much better in the future. Truly a great group of people. Couple highlights for the public. *Clay Dyer made a presentation specifically for the event and it's a message we all need to hear, I'll post a link as soon as permission is granted * Skeeter has donated a boat to CAST for kids. How awesome is that? * expansion in the east is inevitable. We're here and we aren't leaving. * The web site has been redone, many thanks to our fearless leader, Glenn. You got that right!! I was just about to post a "good luck to Ben" post, I've been away all week and wanted to get it on the board as soon as possible. You beat me to it. Anyway, hope you have a great time and know we are all rooting for you, regardless of what state we are from. You make us all very proud. Also, be sure to find Stratosdadri (Mike Broggi). He is the director for RI and will be there with our 2 champs from RI. If you find yourself needing an adult, find him. In fact, find him anyway, he's a great guy to meet and always has the inside scoop on stuff. I wish you both, and anyone else going, safe travels. All you kids are amazing, way to go and remember, you're all winners in our book, and that includes all the directors that make this possible for the kids. My ex g/f's dad has been asked to help tone down a local population that has been doing some damage to a friends crops. I have more Bambi in the freezer than I know what to do with. So does everyone else he knows,lol. Last count was like 9 does, 2 bucks. I still had some in there from last yr. with freezer burn, I won't let that happen again, waste of good food.
