young fisherman
Zack, I am involved quite a bit when it comes to youth and fishing. So is Muddy man, we just also have an aversion to bustin' peoples chops! My suggestion to you would be to just take your time and learn new techniques. You are very young, you have lots of time ahead of you and time is the big factor. Time on water to be specific. Fish as much as you can, keep your eyes and ears open, every cast you make is a learning experience, even if you learn where they are NOT, you still learned somthing. Try new techniques, get involved with our "members challenge" this spring. Read, read, read, then go fish, fish, fish!!!

Favorite Bass Cover
Coontail, especially once the pods grow to the surface. Our lake has a great amount of the stuff, finding the edges is like finding a pot of gold sometimes.

Best way to take pics of fish
ALL OF E ABOVE!!! Mix it up. we are always looking for new angles, new shots etc for the videos. We have some releasing, some fighting, some being held, the trick is to use a different pose or angle for each new fish, otherwise a video or slideshow of your success will all look the same. so, experiment, mix it up!

Horrible Service Beware
Well, if you know the model you want, searching for the best price online is a good move, but don't be discouraged, there are some shuysters out there. Below is my story that KU reffered to, Hawg also had issues with his camcorder but ended up flipping the tables and made out in the end. This is my story from a previous post.

Talk about a postive view on life.
It seems sometimes that folks who are put through many trials and tribulations and survive, are the ones who tend to really appreciate life for all the good it has to offer. Makes sense, if you've HAD to deal with the bad, you would look forward to the good. These people are more than stories, they are examples for us all. Read along inthe broken fins club and you'll see what I mean.

Broken Fin Fishing Fools
I just noticed somthing, the broken fins is going to be PRETTY WELL represented at Fork! We'll all have to hit the bar and raise one for the few that can't make it!! (shirley Temple for me, but still!) Says alot about the drive of this group I must say......(not the Shirly Temple, lol, the fact that we are the sick group but will still be there in force )

what Is Your Favorite Fish Or Hush Puppy Receipe?
So, the main additive to a clam cake that makes it aclam cake is chopped clams. What is the main ingredient for hushpupies, is it fish? little chunks? This actually sounds alot like the stuff on a corn dog. I've never had one but the yellow appearance is making me thing "corn"

PLEASE PASS THE MOJO
The pleasure is all ours Clay!! I look forward to working with you through CAST this year and wish you the best of luck with all you have ahead of you for 2007. The mojo will be coming back to me soon so I can bring it to our 2nd annual trip to Lake Fork. There, it will recieve it's final "power packing" (appx 30 or so of us attending!!) before we send it on to you. We ask if you would keep it on your boat key chain and take a small piece of us with you on all your adventures. Thanks again for all you do. LBH

What the pros make
On the skirts of the subject, a driver asked me this morning why UPS doesn't sponsor a pro trail angler, they have Dale Jarred in Nascar so why Nnot BASS? I told him that the $$ they put in Nascar pretty much covers , demographically, a huge portion of the target group in Bass fishing. (that's an assumption on my part)

what Is Your Favorite Fish Or Hush Puppy Receipe?
So is a hush puppy like a clam cake? Or a fritter w/o sugary stuff? Just not familiar with the terminology, but the ingredients sound like it would be similar to a clam cake.

what Is Your Favorite Fish Or Hush Puppy Receipe?
For any kind of sole, preferable a thin filet like flounder. Stuffing: Bread crumbs, pepp farm seasoned stuffing (in ziploc w/ bread crumbs, give an extra crush to make it all finer) spinach, blanched and drained well 10 oz crab meat Chopped garlic Pine (pignoli) nuts red bell peppers diced in tiny squares combine all ingredients and then add a butter/water mix till appropriate moistness is achieved. roll stuffing in filet and toothpick to hold shut (soak toothpicks in water for an hour and they won't burn in oven) sprinkle entire roll w/ bread crumb-garlic powder(not much) mix. 375degrees till done

Ice Safety
This was covered in the last few weeks in general but as Pain said, it's been slow coming and many in the Northeast will be venturing for the first time this week, so I think it is a good idea to keep the info posted. we will let it stay here in "my outtings" for a few more views by guys actually getting out there. Previous thread in general

Interview with Ish Monroe
Most pro's charge a fee for their time. Many are still so inundated that they up the fee just to get a little more personal time and even that doesn't work. Ish is alot like most here, he is very comfortable with the internet (many pros are not)and uses it to further prove he is an ambassador of the sport by helping out forum boards like ours by taking the time to do these interviews. Thanks Ish and Andy

Beat Charlie Moore-We tried
I did reply with an offer to call on me if they were interested in Striper, Bluefish or Bonita on the fly or Giant Bluefin off Stellwagen Bank. I said we are a full spectrum foundation,...surely we can fit this win/win scenario in SOMEWHERE! lol Seriously, I just appreciate that Joel got this to the proper set of eyes and that they took the time to reply.
