What do you want to see?
Wow, that was great how the video was in synch with the song at the beginning!! Good stuff. We need a helicopter. lol As for the Texas women, there sure are some fine ones, but the only ones I need to meet that week are the big, fat, dumpy looking, obese, egg carrying type. And she ain't goin' on no trampolene!

Lake Fork Goals
This for me is much more of a social vacation than a "I have to be successful" vacation. I did that last year and it didn't happen. I always seem to have better luck when I don't care about catching so my goal is to have a blast, meet some people I've been waiting a long time to meet and build us a kickazz video. Hopefully, I'll catch somthing in the middle of it all! Cigar- we can work that jig at my lake where I know what I'm doing, lol, you want to learn the jig in a place where confidence will come quickly. By all means throw it at Fork, probably be crazy not to but if the magic doesn't happen don't be discouraged, we can remedy that right quick when we get back.

Is this a fair way to offer staffer's a position
Very fair. Well done. I plan on using this thread in the future as an example of how it's done correctly. Thanks EW.

What do you want to see?
Also looking for suggestions for backround music. This wont be a single song, beginning to end, video. It will have lots of different songs, or parts of them, fading in and out as the show rolls. All different genres are welcome. I feel I owe all you country boys a little somthin' too, especially Glenn and RW. So,..No promises, there's a certain sound I mix better to but I will give a listen to all suggestions and see if they will fit. Thanks

What do you want to see?
Ronnie, are you digital? Also, who else will have video capability? we need to think this out as to how I can get copies of your footage before we all leave. Will anyone have a laptop I can use to transfer and burn raw data to disc? I am thinking that if we have a laptop, I can file share through AIM with Mike Broggi back home and send all the data as it comes also.

Line Size for Smallmouth
RW- Are you guys using 6lb on the river also? I can see it in a lake or pond but 6 lb seems a bit light for the size fish you guys get, especially in current.

craw jig trailer mod
When I feed my Oscar a few crayfish, he absolutely loves them. If I just put them in the tank, it could be up to an hour or so (unless he has been starved for a few days) before he starts tagging up on one of them. Now,...If I remove the claws first, he's gone in seconds. If I remove 1 claw, it takes a minute, but nowhere near as long as a regular (clawed) cray. So,...would it make sense to maybe rip off 1 arm of my jig trailer?

Rods, Reels, and Airlines...
Fork note- Guys, Art has offered to recieve your gear at his house for you should you decide to ship it. He lives in Dallas, anyone interested, PM me and I'll set it up. Norman and cigarlover, we can use my tube for all of our rods, holds 10-12 or so but I am bringing very limited gear myself. You guys will need to get your rods to me a few weeks prior. Perhaps we can all meet up for lunch one day. This will be great to not have to lug the rods, worry about the airlines sending them to Alaska, etc. Plus, if we split the shipping 3 ways, it's pennies. My bazooka pro rod case is huge, it had a 1 piece 7'10" rod in it also (to give an idea of length). No surcharge. (American Airlines)

I would not look on this as an inconvenience but more of you helping me out to make this the best video ever.

Stupid Question thread part II
Preteener- adolescent who is soon coming to the age which can create hair loss, ulcers and some very long nights for a parent. It is also a term to let parents know it is time to start saving money for either college or bail. Surely, one of the two will be needed in the upcoming years. Where's the beef?

Ever been goose
My grandmother (rest her soul) was very well endowed. One Easter, as we are all out in the country getting ready for the Easter egg hunt, she got hit square in the cleavage! lol Now, all the kids including myself thought this was just the funniest thing. Then another time, in high school, I had taken the girl I was currently working on , surfing. Well after a few hours of alot of fun and some good laughs, we settled down on the blanket. Both laying on our sides, I moved in for the first kiss and got hit in the rib cage by Mr. Seagull. dripped all down my side and on my belly,......funny as heck but a sure mood killer, lol.

Line Size for Smallmouth
Not so much the case here in RI. Many of my friends guide here on Narragansett Bay and they are paid mainly to teach and locate. Fishing alongside the customer and explaining as you go is the standard here. Of course, the personal request of the client is everything. If the client asks that you strictly locate, so be it. Customer's choice. Often times, the captain will simply ask what the customer would like to do.

Can't even have it on the boat here. Have you considered a canoe or jon? Pretty cheap to pick one up used. For less than $500, you can have 2 boats!

What do you want to see?
OK, I'm thinking of certain things at Fork that I make sure I get on film. Pre-thinking a video and making an outline helps. What are some things you want to make sure I get on tape. In other words, what scene would you hope to see when it finally airs upon our return. I don't know if I'm asking this right, help me out here.

Yankee fans beware in RI!!!!
Risk, for me it's not about the Yankees, it's about someone who lives in Boston and dresses his car with Yankee stickers. If he was born in NY, fine. If not,.......TRAITOR!! lol I would feel the same if I had been born in Ny and a New Yorker were sporting Red Sox stickers. It's a personality type I try to avoid, the pot stirrer! I commend anyone who stays loyal to their team. Whether the team wins or loses, you will always be a fan and that makes you the real winner in my book. But the Shimano thing,......I'm a Pfluegerist by ownership, so that's the posse I back. I've used 'em all and really have no preference, price is my dictator basically. I'm really liking the new medalist. See ya at the showdown. Sincerely, Low Budget dirty scrapper Pflueger Mook.

Cold snap
I know many of you southern folk think we are nuts up here but the first real cold snap of the year is here and I'm kinda psyched to get out on a route today. With a cold week, everything here is set up perfectly for a good deep freeze today. I really love this time of year. First snow, first good freeze, I love it. I'll see if I can grab a few pics today to show you why. Even the bay is freezing around the edges right now(saltwater). Very cool. Everyone up north, protect those fingers and ears today!!
