BR.com challenges Charlie Moore- 6/7 update
Well, that's what we don't want to do actually. Anyone who replies under that post would need to remember that you are representing this website. All comments will be civil and non-attack related, just like if you were here. we will discuss maybe reasons why they havn't responded, ideas for the challenge to make it more appealing, etc It may be 12 pages long but..................

BR.com challenges Charlie Moore- 6/7 update
Hey guys!!!! CHARLIE HAS A FORUM!!!! Let's give this a little time to process and if nothing happens again, perhaps we can approach them via the forum. I am also going to investigate to see if ESPN has any Charlie specific forums. I can't believe none of us thought of this,.....IT'S WHAT WE DO!! LOL

BR.com challenges Charlie Moore- 6/7 update
Well, ...............the show is still around, 1 year and 3 months since we first challenged him...... I'm going in again. Challenge re-submitted. Sent today I am a 39 yr old UPS driver and also a moderator on bassresource.com. I am also the regional events coordinator for C.A.S.T. for kids foundation. As a representative of bassresource.com, I would like to challenge you to a team event. We will put together a team of 4-5 moderators/members to fish against yourself and 4 or 5 teammates. Or mano y mano, Charlie and myself. The hitch is we don't want the 5k.The money will go to the winners charity, ours being a C.A.S.T. for kids event in Charlies home town. We are expanding into the northeast this year and would love to launch alongside Charlie Moore, "NEW ENGLANDS" mad fisherman. Please visit our site and see what we are about. Strictly an educational/instructional youth friendly forum board started By a man named Glenn M*^ who will also be on our team. When we first challenged Charlie back in Oct '05, we were a 4000 member forum board. We now have 7000+ members and are the number 1 rated board on the net. Regardless as to whether you accept or not, our board will be anxiously awaiting your reply. Sincerely, Russ T*#)ni@A"

No coffee for the Marines this war
They can donate to whoever they want, they just won't get the tax break. It's THEIR policy, not somthing imposed on them. Classic. So Starbucks says WE won't donate but our EMPLOYEES will. Well isn't that just classic big business. The troops get their coffee, the employees have to pay out of pocket for it, and STARBUCKS, who's name is on the bag that the soldier finally gets,....gets the credit. FOLGERS FOR THE TROOPS!!!!! Let's all tell Starbucks and Target what they can do with their products.

Congressional Inquiry
Don't be confused though, at $2.25/gal, they are still raking it in hand over fist.

How can someone get your email address here?
Jim, In the future, delete such emails. Someone that can only reply anonomously isn't worth the extra "click" to open it. (and no, they can't. Only Mods and Glenn have that access if you have it blocked)

clear water lures
Clear water is all I fish for the most part, unless I'm road tripping to another members honey hole. I always use natural colors only. Hues of green, black and brown. finesse jigs, finesse worms, etc When cranking, we also stay natural with silv/blk, gold/blk combos.

Interesting Article: Rapala Acquires Terminator
Muddy, you mentioned how you want to concentrate on learning how I jig fish when we finally hook up. The terminator finesse jig is my baby! That's the money maker for me up in our clear water. Having a few of these in your box in the blk/brwn combo, will never hurt! as for the 2 companies merging, I can't see how Great company A and great company B could form anything other than new super company C.

Rammstein
Hmmm............I'll have to respectfully disagree on this one. I can think of one band that has had bigger and better stage shows for 30 years..............it's a small american band you might of heard of............KISS! C'mon man, catch up, that was 20 years ago!! lol I was a monstrous KISS fan growing up. we would hold "concerts" for the neighborhood and get all dressed up, spitting out Ketchup and using the aerosol can to spew fire, lol. Geez, we could have burned the house down, lol. I remember it was my sisters prom and we were having a "concert" (lip singing) and I had her eyeliner pen to finish off my Gene Simmons look, oh man, the crap hit the fan!!! Memories...

Somebody help me get one of these!!!
Wow, some very generous offers guys, thank you very much! I was thinking some of the NH guys would be on this thread too but I think they finally have ice so we may not hear from them for a little while, lol. I will be in Leighton in late September for the CAST event that Muddy,Zel and Brutus are putting together. How far would it be if we wanted to drive from there (susky fishin'). I could definately stay a few days to take advantage of the generosity offered. As Zel mentioned, there are smallies in the water where they are holding their event, perhaps I can get a warm up at Beltzville and then make my way over/down/up to you guys.

Let's go for a ride!
See now, if I owned that car they would be useless, you'd never get a chance to read them.

Yankee fans beware in RI!!!!
Why, do you need to know if it's time to go home or somthing? And yes! 17 of 'em,lol.

Pics from your youth?
Wow Matt, your grandfather was fishing the same water in 1939 that I made a living on for about 7 years! Mackerel Cove, Beaver Tail, Cuttyhunk, all offer some of the finest Cow bass fishing RI has to offer. The currents that curl around Jamestown are awesome! This is my grandfather that I never got to know. He passed away when I was 2. Somthing tells me we would have gotten along just fine! circa 1952

Ice fishing dangers
Excellent Hawg! Video really helps illustrate it better. FYI-Darrin is also the guy that told me about the ice picks last year.

ARUGH!!!!!!!!! The Lake is finally Iced up
Nathan has the 1 point turn down pretty good, lol. He and I deliver the same areas. We work in the same center so we often meet up on the road. When it snows, we pretty much forget the office and all take care of each other in our areas with he and I as the floating helpers so as long as we work well together, all the guys around us can breathe a little easier. Unless we don't like you. LMAO Can be fun if it's a light day with alot of snow the night before and cold temps so it's not a "wet" day.

I can't believe it.
Still don't want me to carry your stuff? ;D Shoot, I'll cast for you if you want buddy, point and give me a yardage, we'll be fine tuned in an hour! How can I not support such a diehard attitude? You have the drive and mindset of someone 1/2 your age you crazy S.O. Basser! Although this is bad news, I know you'll do fine. The issue with the surgeon is somthing to look into. With all the work you've had done, there are plenty of pictures that will show you the "before" and "after". I've torn both my cuffs skiing, but alot of PT and I avoided the knife. Thats why I was so persistent about telling you to stick tough to the exercises they give you and also about the one where you hold the towel above your head and behind your back and grab bottom with other hand. That one was the one I felt was the best. But I remember how clearly the tears were when they showed me the films. Both were different but clearly there. I'm no doctor but there's a good chance you would have been able to see if it was there before or not. Good luck with getting some proper diagnosis and putting this monster to bed!

Somebody help me get one of these!!!
Yea, Ri has 3 or 4 ponds/lakes with smallies but they are small and certainly not numerous. I am hoping Cigarlover finds a couple sweet spots on a place called Quabbin Res up where he lives in Mass. He's not too far (driveable). I have another friend who lives on the Susky too, Sounds like Pa could be a beneficial trip for me in lots of ways. I'd love to meet a bunch of you and also catch up with my buddy. Hmmmm....
