  1. I wouldn't reccomend treating it till you know what it is.
  2. Good luck with her, Safe travels to you!!
  3. I guess if you define "Yankee" as one of those northerners that were on the side of the war that won,...then yup,...that's us! But if you live in RI and define "Yankee" as "hood ornament" then no,...that wouldn't be me, that would be someone who roots for the team that is opposing their home team, a "Traitor" of sorts. We just wait for them to step one foot out of the crosswalk, lol.
  4. "Hi there!!" Sorry, just watched "welcome back Kotter" rerun, Washington kills me,lol Welcome aboard
  5. Dom, just refer to the attendee list. All names on there are "definates only" so that should give you a real accurate idea when the time comes.
  6. You're right, sorry, I fixed it,lol
  7. I do know that one thing you can do to help RIGHT NOW would be to buy somthing from the store. Glenn took a beating on that gear let's not make him eat any more of it. Order up!!
  8. Well, there is a 99.999999998 % chance that will NEVER happen. We will be hard pressed to let the head honcho allow us to help, maybe different donation levels could get certain status. Thinking out loud here, like I said, the guy's heart is too big sometimes. Boss, you listening? This is a forum of the people, by the people and for the people and the people WANT TO HELP!! Don't make us beg you to give you some money, that would remind me too much of dating, lmao.
  9. Yea Squid, it's been awhile, welcome back, glad you're all settled in. Kiethscatch is no longer a member.
  10. Or you are an engineer. One particular member explained that this is why he does this, it's habit as an engineer. understandable but man is it annoying lol(nothing personal) I just have an automatic mindset like "this guy insists on attention..." almost desperate for a reply. Most times as with my engineer friend, this is not the case but it's a mindset with me, Oh well, I'm a jerk, lol.
  11. but once you find the right water,.....that is somthing to look forward to. Unless I am attending a specific function at a specific place, I am always in the same body of water. I've fished the entire state a few times over and lots of bodies in the neighboring states and none draw me like my sacred place.
  12. At a local bass factory. Production has been high, I'll give you the tour again this spring. And thanks for noticing!! I wasn't sure if they were too big, maybe too tacky but they go well with jeans, supplex or any North Face garment.
  13. There are lots of products and techniques for removing stains of different types. "White" stain has me a little confused, are you sure it isn't oxidation (like a cloudy look)? Put up a pic and we can give you the resolution or at least a good place to start.
  14. on that note, Eric had a note taped to his tackle box which was loaded in a big duffle. He had been chosen for a random check. They retained a lighter, his $2 pocket knife and MY baitcaster backlash pic >
  15. Guys, Due to our usual late winter growth and a member base that doesn't just sign up and go away but actually stays and posts,.....we have maxxed our bandwidth limits. Glenn, as usual, ponied up the loot and has expanded yet again to make the site even faster than before. What a dude. This brings me to another point. I have been telling Glenn that it's common practice to have a "donation" button somewhere on the main page. He has always been dead set against it. Tacky is the term, but I said that I only think it's tacky if it's like a 1/3 page banner, lol, a small button, discreetly loaded on the main page is not IMO. I just know that I would gladly throw a sawbuck his way when things get tough as I know many of the members would. I just think it's crazy for him to come out of pocket everytime we get TOO POPULAR,lol. Contrary to popular beliefs, the advertisors, only help to offset the cost of running a site with this much traffic, Glenn often pays for upgrades on his own. I, personally, want to send him a little somthing whether theres a button for it or not. Glenn, please don't be upset that I put this out there, I think you just need to see the amount of support we have for you and how much we all appreciate everything you do here. We say it all the time, how about a button so we can prove it and help you out a little. Opinions?
  16. You have to go to the individual sites. Pure fishing carries clothing for all their lines, trilene, spider, abu, 7strand,Mitchell,etc Strike king has a good selection also
  17. That's very generous of you Squid!!! I'll take a small.
  18. The thread was not deleted, it's just in storage for now. We will kick this up again around April or so. As soon as everyone has fishable water again. I think overall, after we worked out the glitches, that it was a well recieved, successful idea. Looking forward to season II
  19. Last year for Fork, we packed the bazooka pro. Don't bother locking it, they will make you remove the lock in place for a colored zip tie. Now, with no lock, somehow the zip tie was removed and they broke the latch off the carrier. Doesn't matter though because what I learned (on the ride home) is that wrapping the latch end in duct tape keeps them out of it and will secure the latch from getting caught on somthing and being torn off like mine was. Reels go in the carry on, stored over your head. Those would be a prime item for a luggage handler to fence.
