  4. I could go off on this one but will hold my tongue. People, PLEASE read up on food requirements (and what will happen to your tank if you actually meet them) In optimal conditions (which a tank provides), a bass will eat up to 2/3 it's weigh/day. I'm sorry, but a couple dozen goldfish a week is plain mean. That's like someone giving you 1 loaf of bread a week. You may not die but.....that's no way to live either. Also , and this is a must. Read up on transplanting fish from a maintaned aquarium to local water. If you can't be bothered, PLEASE add a good dose of Aquarisol to the tank 2 days prior to releasing. And , I wasn't expecting you to have a pic of a 3 ( or 5 , make up your mind) lb bass in a 150 gallon tank cause it would be dead. A bass has to be able to turn around in a tank. That is the max it will grow, till it can't turn around. My neighbor has a 180 gal, nothing in it over 1 3/4 lbs due to size restrictions. Not surprised there is no pic. And yes, when it comes to stuff like this, I'm VERY vocal.
  5. I'm NOT crazy!!! Does that thing look unbelievably similar to the one we came up with??? Like Identical,...great minds think alike, lol.
  6. I have used most of the brands out there, not really loyal to any particular one, most get the job done equally as well IMO. I've used calcutta's for years on my smaller saltwater stuff and even have a bantam mag 10, same one as Ronnie. (from back when reels weighed 2 lbs, lol) I've never been "stuck" on Shimano though.
  7. Maybe a PM to reelmech. He may not be able to touch it but if anyone can, he would know who that person is.
  8. Caution buying rods from discounters. If you are buying a new rod for less than retail from companies that are sticklers about their pricing (like loomis), be aware. I saw alot of this in the ski industry. It's called "b" stock. The stuff that wasn't up to quality standards for "a" stock ( the stuff on the rack) Could be as simple as a nick in the cork, slightly off center eye(s), etc
  9. Are there any other baits you use in "saltwater" sizes like that 8" white tube?

What a great way to put it! ( now keep your darn dog off my lawn!)
  11. Cute? I could hardly believe the state let him procreate!! I think he's busy with a new born. JT, you disappear periodically but you're one of the guys that we know will be back when time allows. I did speak w/ DD a little while ago and he was extremely busy. Anyone email him lately?
  12. What a drag, good luck getting some of that back, it definately is do-able. Backing up to cd's isn't so easy, I have over 30 videos, all the raw footage from them and over 3000 pics from last yr alone. I went to copy my Vids folder and it would have needed 17 cd's for that 1 folder. External hard drive will be my next purchase after Fork.
  13. I guess it depends on the level of the employee, If it were said by a driver to someone in a neighborhood, it's one thing, an isolated idiot but if it's a corporate suit giving a speech to the United Nations on global commerce, sure.
  14. It was on the news here in RI this morning. That's alot of agua.
  15. I was gonna have my friends help but that's a great idea, we can use 4 less people, less likely to get caught!!

I know exactly how you feel Avid.
  17. oops sorry Avid,.... ...................................what HE said. lol
  18. Now everyone knows where I stand when it comes to supporting our troops. But if you read the full statement, it says the employee responsible was fired. Think about it, If I get into it w/ a customer while delivering a package, and I happen to be anti-war, and say somthing, knowing her son is serving, .....is UPS the devil? Not really, they had a bad seed and it was removed. I may not know the whole story but does this make sense ?
  19. Geez, you guys are getting way too intellectual,....I only wanted to know so I would know how many milk jugs I would need if I ever wanted to steal it and set it up somewhere secret.
  20. He's been interviewed here before so do a search first and make sure you don't ask any repeat questions.
  21. The key to the air alive skirt from terminator is the way the bands of rubber have notches. Keeps the skirt from sticking to itself and gives it a great bellow. I love these skirts but even still, I thin the heck out of them and they are a pretty sparse skirt to begin with. Good luck.

Sucks to be you! lol I'm just jealous
  23. I've had phenomenal success with the banjo when it came out. Eric bought the kit and the first day out, we both used it. Not a bad day. The next day out, he was all set with them, just wanted to see what it was all about. I used them again the second day and bagged a 6.5 My issue is that the hooks are waaaaay too thin. I caught a 4 lbr the same day that straightened the hook.
