BadKarma said it best , once yu have covered every area under the dock move on .. I have come behing anglers and pulled fish off docks because the didnt take ti the time to make sure got alllll the way to the back of dock ..alot of guys just hit from sides and in front and move on .. I start up front and work myself all the way to the back ..sometimes like 10+cast on one dock .. But I will say most of my biggest fish have come from doing this ..skipp on baby skipp on !! 8-)BBD

When im out "fishing for fun" I let the bass show his a$ , but in tourneys i always lower my tip and reel fast as menntion above .. now onve he or she is in the livewell "jump away" lol .. i alot of cases depending upon where the strike take place you cant prevent the jump, atleast that first one .. But i have developed a technic that helps .. I saw it used one time when a guy was fishing for tarpon .. it's called bowing to the fish , kinda of to detailed to explained but im sure there is a site about it somewhere on the web ..BBD 8-)

Most states lic fee for non resident are allways that highest in cost . What i have told myself is that if im not fishing that body of water more than three times , its not worth it .. you can also look at getting the one day lic they are around 10-20 bucks per day or even just the weakend lic . thats my two cents

If those smallies are still spawing , i would look for hugh flats next to deep water and burn rattletraps and cranks / if the sun stays in stay shallow .. BBD

Well I just wanted to give a slight introduction of myself . I go by "DEZ" i live in renton ,Washington . I'm a collections manager at my family business in bellevue,wa . I have lived here since jan 2005 , Im a member of the Puyallup HawgHunters and i live too fish period . If any of you have visted Washingtonlakes.com im a well known member there as well . I have already spotted a few guys on here that i have exchanged many threads with .
