Thank you for sharing this up to date information. In “normal pre-pandemic times Loomis has been very good to me with all my experiences.

The mbr 844 is my “do it all” rod, it doesn’t do everything well but if I had to choose only 1 rod, this is it.

I can only comment about Loomis and have experiences with the GLX's of 783& 842. btwn the 2 the 783 would be more appropriate but if extra leverage because of length maybe be important, than 842 . a loomis 2 power is quite versatile as I have the glx 842, can it pull 1/2oz spinners, it can but not ideal. Loomis MBR rods are extremely versatile and in my opinion they're great all around rods. I'm on the bank and can only bring 1 rod, MBR all day long. I do have some st.croix rods, but I only use 1 rod for bass: MBR

Can someone point me to what the material is called for the nylon used in front of jigs and hooks, it's like a multi strand of stiff nylon. Can you tell me where i can order, thank you.

i'll be there next week and wanted to know where i can fish for bass?
