I won't know about Cherokee till Friday evening, but Boone still looked good yesterday as I drove by it.

I didn't want the fish or reel in the dirt. My little girl was making a run for it. Had to get her back where she belonged first before taking care of the fish and reel.

Had planned on fishing South Holston this weekend but the in-laws decided not to go so I promised my daughter I would take her fishing. Weather wasn't suitable Friday night so we went this morning after she got up and we ate breakfast. My dad went as well to a little spot just a little ways from the house thats pretty safe for her on the bank. Dad and Olivia fished with some worms we call black wigglers for bluegill. She caught 2 and he caught 1 bluegill, 1 smallmouth and 1 very small redeye. After a while she decided throwing rocks was more fun, so I picked up my rod and decided to see if there was a topwater bite with a Rebel Pop-R. Didn't fish too long around the bank as Olivia wasn't in the best of moods, but heres what I landed. The smallmouth were all between 10-15 inches roughly. The first picture was the last one I caught and the biggest. It was the best strike of the day to. Had 2 guys come floating by as we first got there. They had only caught a sauger so far in their trip.

And anyone is welcome to do nuisance control around my house. I detest ramming those critters with my truck or car. As for the hunting side of things, I have only rabbit hunted my whole life. Tried turkey hunting a couple of times, but nothing to show for it. A trip to the midwest is something I want to do soon for some birds though.

I figured if you was in the infield you would be provided with the headsets. At Bristol its probably more important than any other track just because of the bowl shape and tight quarters everything gets trapped inside the track basically. It used to be called Thunder Valley because of the mountains around them. Bruton leveled them for more parking.

Bugs probably wont be bad on the infield. Those critters already have a 160,000 others to select from before they get to the infield.

They have been seen fairly high into the Mississippi before.

Unless my schedule changes, I am off that Friday. Maybe something can get worked out for a few of us to get together. I wish you would have seen a race there before they paved it. Racers like it better now, fans like it less. Before, fans liked it more and racers liked it less.

Sorry I hadnt checked this out earlier. Prado may be a key to my whole fantasy season. I think I have him in all but 1 league I am in. He is solid. Escobar has his moments but is a good value later in the draft at SS. Solid player who should see an increase in RBIs batting lower in the lineup. No sweat. I stole Yunel way late, but missed out on Prado. I'm ticked because he is 1B, 2B, and 3B eligible in Yahoo leagues. Our league expanded a little this year, so to keep a fresh free agent pool, our commish dropped a bench spot or two. I forgot this would shorten our draft a few rounds, and incorrectly targeted Prado. I planned on taking him in round 22 or so...turns out we only had 20. How about Prado tonight Gone Fishin?
