  1. Ok, I found that these sores are given by a plant in your home lake and its called Red Sore Disease. Normally the fish heal over time unless its the virus VHS which can be more serious. http://edis.ifas.ufl.edu/VM059
  2. I believe its called Vibriosis...I'm searching more on it now, I'm not exactly certain!
  3. Ya I use a 3.5 inch swim bait or 3 inch and I catch plenty. I haven't yet caught a HUGE fish but I attribute this to the small size of the lure I'm using. I feel if I was using a 5inch that my numbers would fall drastically but I would catch larger bass. I've caught many fish off the 3 inch and the biggest was probably 2.5 lbs.
  4. What about jigs and swim bait bite? I figured Docks near deep ledges or any sorta cover near deep water would be the ticket there. Flappin hog eh? I've never used them, I think I'm going to bass pro tomorow so I will definately pick them up.

  8. Texas rigged 7.5 inch culprit ribbon tail tequila shad worm, just drag it real slow or hop it real slow, you should catch some. Also, senko/senko style work great too.
  9. I would go heavier then 14lb, I use 20 lbs braided and thats considered "light". I use any weight jig too.
  10. Yeah normally I'm on here reading. But I can't fish often, plus I haven't found alot of available lakes around here, but anytime I have access to my boat with my dad we go.

  12. He knows how to use a baitcaster? I learned at 8 and thought i was the junk. haha
  13. I do have the 500 lbs of soft plastics, only problem is that if I carry them I exceed the weight carrying capacity of the boat by far. It 's 500 lbs of plastics or the outboard. And you didnt go with the plastics?!?!?
