  1. I think they look pretty sweet. I am going to buy the Drop Shot/ Shaky Head model with an Abu Garcia Cardinal 500 ALBi spinning reel.
  2. I feel really stupid... but what am I missing? What show is this from?
  3. Those look...not to quote Napoleon Dynamite or anything...flippin' sweet.
  4. Those look pretty sweet. ;D
  5. How many of you actually use the Lazer Trokar hooks on a regular basis? They're way too expensive in my opinion. 10 bucks for 4-6 hooks? :-? Nope.
  6. I love a White Pearl Super Fluke. The bass kill 'em in fairly clear water.
  7. I haven't had the problem with the finish scratching, but the eyes tend to peel off fairly easily with the ones I've used.
  8. I've never hooked myself...but it gets pretty crowded in a 14 foot jon boat with 4 people. I, of course, had to sit on the middle seat with my little cousin. I rared back with my baitcaster to throw my fluke... and hooked my uncle right in the ear. I thought it was funny, and it wasn't bad at all. My uncle seemed to think differently. I am now limited to spinning tackle in these situations. ;D
  9. The only way I ever get kills is if I am playing at a friend's house and screenlook at all times. lol.
  10. I have one of these that I got from one of my friends' garages. It's really old, and I just was looking on TW, and they have them. What do you guys think of them? I think it looks pretty good.
  11. Sorry. I Searched for "Trigger-X" I should have tried it without the dash. I got the info i needed.
  12. It looks like these are a Rage Tail knockoff. They come in a clamshell package and are advertised at my local Walmart on an endcap for $2 Are they any good?
  13. Shad Raps and Husky Jerks aren't really crankbaits. I suggest Strike King Series 3, 5, and 6. They're good at an affordable price. Another good crankbait is anything made by Norman. Deep Little N's, and DD22's are good.
  14. I know that these are all good lines. I just wanted to know what you thought of Excel Monofilament
  15. Is this stuff any good? They have it on sale and I was about to order some. The reviews are totally divided though. There's some guys who say they swear by it. Others say it's the worst line ever since it's made in China. What do y'all think?
  16. Sorry. I didn't know they were that old. I just heard about them on a podcast the other day. I guess it was old...Whoops.
  17. http://www.basspro.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/Product_10151_-1_10001_10205359_100011005_100000000_100011000_100-11-5 http://www.basspro.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/Product_10151_-1_10001_10205349_100011005_100000000_100011000_100-11-5 You can take a string or lanyard of choice to affix to the sheath.
  18. Most everything in the water that bass feed on has a white belly. Anything with a white belly (the bass don't see the top of a topwater lure anyway), is good.
  19. I get cable, so the only ones that are ever on are WGFS with Zona (stupid), Spanish Fly (sucks), and Beat Charlie Moore (who decided to make this a show anyway?). So the closest I get to a fishing show is on FS Southwest called Southwest Outdoors Report. Other than that, the Elites are decent sometimes.
  20. I'm just gonna take a wild guess and say that it was a Mattlures Hardgill. ;D P.S. Look at the rod.
  21. Sorry. I meant to post a link. It's there now.
  22. You gotta watch this. It's the funniest thing I've seen in a while. The words fit so perfectly... ;D
  23. His new company, Duckett Fishing, is coming out with a new line of rods. They are all white (for less visibility by the fish in clear water), have micro guides (even spinning), and he sure talks like they're the cat's meow. Sounds a little far out to me. I heard him talk about them on a podcast the other day, and he was telling all these things...I need to paint all my rods in a baby bass color...maybe the fish would attack the rod instead of the lure...it would sure save a lot of line. lol. ;D Check 'em out: http://duckettfishing.com/home.php
