Well i dint win. I did average but there were about 3 people that caught about 7 lbs. more than any one else. The fishing was AMAZING though i caught 15 keepers within 4 hours.

Thanks guys. I hope I do well the grand prize for nationals is a $23,000 scholarship.

Hi tomorrow I will be prefishing for state qualifiers on Sunday. I was watching tv the other day and they said that when prefishing you should not catch any fish (instead you should just let them get off the hook) because they will not bite the next day. I wanted to know if this is true because if it is i dont want to catch a big one prefishing and not be able to catch it during the tourny but i also do not want to let them all get off and find out during the tourny that they are all 10 inchers. I am not sure where Quincy is as i am new to illinois but I am part of the Off The Hook club which holds its meetings in bollingbrook. This club is only for people ages 11-18. But there is also an adult club called the Maple Bassmasters, they do not meet in bollingbrook but there meeting place isnt too far from there. These clubs are based in the bollingbrook area of Illinois. Off The Hook is part of the junior bassmasters and is available for anyone to join ages 11-18. maple bassmasters is for anyone 18+.
