so tonight at 7 i walked bout a mile to a pond behind my nieghbor hood to try out some new stuff i got from *** now usually i fish with hardbaits..im not to good with plastics bc i dnt use them much..wel tonight i set out with 1 rod and a some alurring taper tail worms i think there called and i fished them on a hookerhear shakey and i caught the biggest about a 1.5 -2 pounder and 3 other keepers not much over 12in but either way i gained alot of confidence in bout a hour and a half

splinter cel double agent was good and rainbow vegas was decent but cod 4 sucked

i was out on the water monday and was throwing the strike king sexy shad and boom i had new pb i thot ..turned out to be a 7lb cat :

same thing happened to me while fishing some excaliber lure i was walking the dog and i tried to set the hook too early so i yanked it right outa its mouth ha im gunna try to wait a bout a second or so but what do i kno i need advice too

im heading to my grandparents house monday to go conoeing in the hocking river (in southeastern ohio) its supposed to be one of the better smallmouth waters in ohio....but im not very familiar with smallmouth so what should i throw and where thanks in advance oya the river is fairly shallow and not very wide its sorta creekish ha

so did u just work them across the water and then let them fall back down?

my dad and i are planning on buying a boat withng the next month and all this is making me nervous lol :-/

well..being a 14 year old and not having bills enables me to spend every penny i can find on stuff id say 150- 200 ish

so a while ago i decided to purchase my first baitcaster so i got a 40$ shimano castillo and a st.croix m/f idk the exact name but it says triumph sport fishing on it and it was 70$ well anyway im looking into buying somehing a little nicer... i fish alot of crankbaits and topwater so help me out what rod should i go for and what reel i wanna spend about 200 ish on a reel and as for the rod goes no limit :] thanks in advance
