i have a smal boat with an old hummingbird lcr 400 or 4000 i forget but im looking for a new on and i really like the hummingbird 565 but my real question is what exactly am i looking at on the screen, where exactly is the screen showing

I pretty much just took plywood to cover the area i wanted carpeted, then carpeted the plywood so i could take it out/ put it in whenever i wanted

Jerkbaits are allways money for me this time of year. But my personal overated lure is senkos probably because I dont work them right.

would a 110gal tall tank work its the size as a 5 but double the hieght ? this thread gave me a good idea ;D

idk if i agree with the huge motor 200+ on 10hp or less but if ur just using a 20 or so i dont see a problem as long as you dont make an a** of yourself...

usually its got to be a day thats just ubeliveably hazy and i get there and dont think about my presentation or lure choice and just dont focus

I prefer a butt-load of the regular plano boxes then I have a few for spinnerbaits/buzz baits and tryin to find a few deep ones for plastics bags

I dont know what tips i could give you but I would definitely do it.

haha i just read that post and thought the same.... it was late lol but back on topic we went to the dealer to look at well all the boats and it was 14995 haha not 1499 but we saw a 2008 nitro 640 we liked but i think were gunna find a used boat for about 5000

i waznt to get my hands on that new stuff...i havent spent a dime on plastic with the exception of some ika's b.c. im waiting to stock up on the rage tail stuff

well today while coming out of gander mtn after getting some pline cxx and fat ika's i saw one of the employees beutiful nitro in the parking lot and the merc 225 almost made my eyes water..so later im thinking how could i get a boat like that.. and i thot well i plan on buying a 14 ft jon for 1000 + trolling motor ,outboar and overything else within a week and thought well its close to the end of the season kinda and i could wait for somethin a lil better so i look at the nitro 640 or sumthin like that and talk to my dad about it (im 14 so let me say MY DAD is paying not me)and i try to persuade him..went okay.. but he said itd take sum saving but later i looked and a local boat store website and see a 2003 nitro for 1500 heres the link sizzlemarine.com but the page doesnt have a url so u goto bass boats then nitro then the used 2003 nitro let me know about some problems that might be with it and what ill need to purchase not included with the boat i have NEVER owneda boat in my life so any help at all will be appreciated and thanks in advance

i have the same situation but mines 40 ft in some places and idk bout acres but ive had succses lately with shakey heads

haha happened to me awhile ago but with a tiny on i snaged on the side unintentionaly and felt like i had a biggun on i was all excited to then flip a little cat in the boat grunting at me

i might anodize a reel of mine scarlet and gray..it will catch way more fish than some purple n gold combo

just bought a energy off the flea market section and i absolutly LOVE it imo reels are found bu trail and eror some ppl may not like them but its all personal preference

yea have two opions imo the ponntoon above for 199 or u cud find a jon boat and eventualy mod it to be like a bass boat like decicking and such but if its just u fishing then jon mght be harder to get in the water

well depending on how much u wanna spend i recently got a float tube in the u design wit a bar across the front and found it to be not to desirable depending on what type of whater u fish u could probaly but u cud probably find a jon boat for the same price or a lil more/ less check craigs list in ur area
