  2. Ok, now THAT'S a lyric I wasn't expecting. Dang it. Now it's stuck in my head! Back on topic: I'd much rather deal with hot weather than snow, ice, freezing rain, hail, etc.
  3. The Suzuki SS Series. https://www.suzukimarine.com/outboards/ss-series/

    Outstanding!!
  5. When I picked it up, it fit like a custom glove. Very natural. I was surprised because a rod is a rod, right? So I wasn't expecting anything different. While I haven't fished one yet (that will happen soon), I could tell this would be beneficial for crankbait fishing and most casts with spinning rods, because two-handed casts are common. But I also backhand cast quite often. So I can see it helping with that too. Basically, anything that requires a two-handed cast would improve. That was my immediate impression. Will it make a difference for casts where you're primarily holding the reel, such as flipping/pitching? Logic says "no", but I'll wait until I try it first before passing judgement.
  6. As far as I know, I'm the only one on this thread that has actually seen and held this rod. Lot's of final decisions, though. Interesting reaction to something new and different.
  7. New video!
  8. You would win that bet.
  9. Apparently, there's a rumor being spread that Sure-Life "Please Release Me" and "Catch and Release" formulas do not work in livewells equipped with oxygenators. That is a complete myth! For decades, both products have ALWAYS worked in every livewell, including those equipped with oxygenators. They continue to be the high bar for the best fish care products available to tournament bass anglers everywhere. Please STOP the spread of this rumor. It's a hoax, folks. http://sure-life.com/
  10. EVERYTHING you need to know is packed into this short video!
  11. That is correct. And the competitors are HOT about it because MLF did nothing. I also heard it wasn't the first time, and that the first polygraph technician quit because of incidents like this.
  12. This is the LAST Seaguar giveaway of the year! Get in on it NOW while you still can!
  13. Mine are post-2019. I'll keep an eye on them, but they've been fine so far.
  14. I have multiple rods in all of those and haven't seen any of the problems you describe.
  15. That's not how it works. It takes complete re-tooling and materials to make these handles. This means: 1. It takes time to phase it into other product lines 2. It's going to take some time for angler acceptance 3. Bass anglers are open to change (as opposed to other species) 4. Bass fishing requires casting accuracy. This handle allows for much greater control and accuracy. So bass fishing was a natural fit first to introduce these handles. Will there be more St. Croix rods with these handles? Probably. I think angler feedback, adoption, and sales will drive that decision.
  16. an·thro·po·met·ric: of or relating to the scientific study of the measurements and proportions of the human body.
  17. The exhaustively researched anthropometric-designed handle is unlike any rod you've experienced before, providing improved performance and control. Check it out!
  18. Hurry! Just a few days left to enter. Enter each day for best odds! https://www.bassresource.com/giveaway/seaguar-smackdown-giveaway-5-people-will-win.html
  19. Just got through cleaning up this thread. Some y'all need to read this:
  20. Ah, ok. I thought you meant WBC. He was a member of both at the same time.
  21. Really? Same club as mine. Do I know you?
  22. So you're saying maybe I should look at it every now and then? Yup, I'm busted! LOL!
  23. New video! Hope you like it.
