Hit a log/ new boat issue
Thanks for the safety reminder! When running at slower speeds, you'll need to trim down farther than you realize! You'll almost feel as if you're "plowing" the water, especially if you've been running WOT previously. It's simply a perception thing. When you trim down, you may even have to give it a little more throttle to maintain speed and stay on plane.

Shoulder pains

Shoulder pains
If your shoulder is hurting from casting a lot, then it's possible your casting form needs some tweaking. Most casts are done with your wrist, not your arms and shoulders. Here's a video where I explain the proper technique. Hopefully it helps you!

Wax Fiberglass Boat - Special Boat Wax or regular Car Wax?
Weird. I've been using BTS for years and my boat looks brand new, even though it's 13 years old! I don't have any discoloration at all. An alternate would be 303. I used to use that before I discovered BTS. It's decent, but the boat didn't have the deep showroom finish until I switched to BTS. Nonetheless, its a good product.
