  1. Lots and lots of threads on this already, all conveniently laid out for you just a click away! Enjoy!
  2. It's not obvious, so you're not going insane. They're on each of the different rod brand's webpage. For example, on the Eternity's page, http://www.rainshadowrodblanks.com/product-line/eternity2-bass-casting/ Under "find a dealer", click the tab that says "Blueprints"
  3. Had a FT job. He quit it so he could pursue his YT channel FT. Bear in mind he and his wife have 4 kids to feed and clothe. So, yes, he's a professional youtuber.
  4. Hey folks! I had the opportunity to visit the headquarters of Batson Enterprises and get a behind-the-scenes look at the custom rod building industry. Hope you like it!
  5. I think you're talking about Ed Bassmaster, who has a few million subscribers now. That number is nearly impossible to achieve in today's competitive Youtube environment. btw - Ed got his start here on BassResource.com.

  8. Even you seasoned guys can find a trick or two in this video...
  9. For a great all-purpose line, Seaguar Abrazx is awesome. That's what I use, and love it. I can throw it into cover, weeds, or open water with a variety of baits and techniques. I use 15lb on a med-heavy rod for all my general purpose applications. You didn't mention budget, but if it's within your means, then go with Tatsu. Absolutely THE best fluorocarbon in my opinion. It's very supple with no memory. Quite durable too. And I have yet to have a knot fail on it. Paired with the sensitivity and low visibility, and it can't be beat. However, if fluorocarbon is not within your budget, then PlineCX Premium is about the best bang for tight budgets. I used it for years without too many complaints. Just remember to keep checking your line, and retie often.
  10. There's a lot of videos that explain this, but none of them provide all the tips in this video.
  11. Here ya go! http://www.bassresource.com/fishing/smallmouth_river_fishing-1.html http://www.bassresource.com/fishing/smallmouth_river_fishing.html That would be Mah-Hah Outfitters. Their information is included above.

  14. LMAO! Ok, that was funny!
  15. We temporarily disabled it due to coding issues with the new design. Funny you mention it now, because we should have it back up in about a week.
  16. Here's the reason why, and how to prevent fish from coming off the hook. What are your thoughts?
  17. And yes, those are shotguns in the background. I had no idea where they were, or which direction they were pointing. But the show must go on!
  18. Here's a quick tip that's saved me a lot of time. Hope you enjoy it!
