Go back and read my statement again. I didn't say long casts weren't a factor nor important. But hucking it out there as far as humanly possible? And needing to know how far everyone else's maximum distance is? Not needed. In fact, getting a good hookset on such a mega-cast would be difficult. Long, controlled casts for specific purposes, such as clear water and crankbaiting, has a purpose in bass fishing.

I love the weekly calls from India telling me they're from Microsoft and I have a virus on my computer. The objective of the game is to keep them on the phone for as long as possible....just leading them on and getting their hopes up of a payoff that never happens. LOL! For the other scammers, I just talk gibberish. "Can the soup kitchen play at dark?" "My boingo slingy is a toothpick in the breeze." Some of them try to carry on a conversation. It's hilarious!
