This is just pure trolling. And scene.

Earths changing position??
Let's keep the topic of global warming off the table. Seems people can't discuss it without using it to further their political views. Politics, as you know, is one of two forbidden topics here (religion being the other).

Earths changing position??
Bill, this is a normal occurance. It's been happening for centuries. It's why we have seasons, and why the days are shorter in winter, and longer in summer. The seasons are caused by the tilt of the Earth's rotational axis away or toward the sun as it travels through its year-long path around the sun. The Earth has a tilt of 23.5 degrees relative to the "ecliptic plane" (the imaginary surface formed by it's almost-circular path around the sun). The tilt toward the sun is maximized during Northern Hemisphere summer in late June (the "summer solstice"). At this time, the amount of sunlight reaching the Northern Hemisphere is at a maximum. In late December, on the date of the "winter solstice", the Earth's tilt away from the sun is maximized, leading to a minimum of sunlight reaching the Northern Hemisphere. The seasons, of course, are reversed in the Southern Hemisphere. Now if only we knew what a double-rainbow meant. Now THAT would be something!

Viewing Desktop Version on Mobile Devices
Just in case you want to see the same view on your mobile device that you see on your desktop, near the bottom of the forums, you'll see a link called "Theme". Click it, then "View desktop version on mobile". Due to the nature of the desktop view, expect some issues and nuances when trying to view it on your mobile device. This cannot be "fixed", as you're viewing something with your mobile device that's designed for a desktop. To see the mobile view, simply change back to the other theme. You will still have all the same features and functions, just through a different UI. You don't lose anything because it is not a true "mobile version" with limited capabilities. Thanks!

Power Pole question
So I was mistaken. They are made out of the same materials. The finish on the Pro series is going to hold up and look new longer than the Sportsman. The Powder Coated finish is a higher quality finish. They are otherwise the same.

"Desktop" version of the forums on smartphones...
Guys, most people don't like to view desktop versions on their phone because the text is too small, and the links are very difficult to click - especially when they're close together. In addition, many things such as pulldown menus don't work in many phones. So it's a bad experience for them. That said, I hear you. Despite those drawbacks, you want to have the same view as you get on your laptops. Done. Near the bottom of the forums, you'll see a link called "Theme". Click it, then "View desktop version on mobile". It's literally the same view, but I removed the auto-scaling function, so it doesn't change views when your screensize changes. Bear in mind the drawbacks I mentioned above, but you wanted it. Who am I to say "no"? But if anyone complains about it, I will refer them to tomustang and jbsoonerfan.

"Desktop" version of the forums on smartphones...
A true "mobile version" means less features and functions. It's literally a "dumbed down" version, and is indeed a different version. With the new design, the ONLY thing that changes, is the layout, based upon screensize. That's it. I cannot explain it any clearer than that. I'm out.

"Desktop" version of the forums on smartphones...
Dude - you need to do as I ask. Please. What I'm saying, it that it's all the same app. It only changes the layout automatically due to the screensize. So there's no "mobile version", "desktop version", "apple version" "mac version" "whatever version". Simply resize the screen, and it adapts. That's it. The layout automatically changes when the screensize changes. And only the layout changes, the underlying features and functions are all still there, hence it's the same. It's not a complicated concept. To put it a different way, the page design automatically changes on smaller screens (even though technically there's no "mobile version"), even though it's the same page. Again, it's called "responsive design".

"Desktop" version of the forums on smartphones...
Hey guys, do me a favor on your desktop and click the little square icon at the top of your browser. Now resize your browser - make it small, make it big. Watch what happens. ooooo....aaaahhhh.... the screen resizes and the layout changes based upon your screensize....AUTOMATICALLY! This is called "responsive design". Google it. Once you do, you'll understand exactly what I'm saying, and why there's not "mobile version" or "desktop" button, and, in fact, it is all one in the same now.
