  15. I would never, ever, ever use anything but trailer tires on my boat. You're just asking for it otherwise. It's like riding without a seatbelt. It only takes once for a castrophe to happen. And who knows how many people you'll take out in the process - and how many lawsuits they'll win because you're trailer wasn't properly equipped. When that happens, tell me again how much you saved.
  16. Go with trailer tires. No, I'm not trying to be funny. Some folks try to use light truck tires or even car tires. Not a good idea. I could write a paragraph why, but it's obvious a light truck tire is for...light trucks; and a trailer tire is for....trailers. If a tire isn't designed for the job, don't use it.
  17. Since you asked for "the best" in a fishing forum, then I presume you're looking for the dryest, most durable outfit that's designed by and for anglers. I also presume cost is not a factor. Winner: the Simms ProDry outfit. The jacket and bib will run you a cool grand, but when you're warm and dry in a storm, and not weighed down by the gear nor restricted by it, you won't be thinking about how much you paid for it. http://www.simmsfishing.com/shop/bass-collection.html
  18. Huntsville, AL - December 8, 2015 -- T-H Marine Supplies, Inc., of Huntsville, Alabama, will be giving away at least 13 types of boating gear this Christmas season over the span of 12 days. With giveaway goods totaling at nearly $8,000 in retail value and a grand prize package of $1,200 for one lucky contestant, boating enthusiasts and anglers can start the new year off right with some truly awesome boating gear, all courtesy of T-H Marine. Although T-H Marine is keeping prize specifics under-wraps until each daily announcement, the selection of boating gear is sure to bring excitement. Prizes will include newly acquired product lines as well as longstanding favorites. From apparel to performance boating equipment, the boat gear giveaway has variety unlike anything T-H Marine has awarded before. Prize announcements start Thursday, December 10, 2015, and award notifications will go out shortly thereafter. Most prizes will be available to multiple winners, so entrants have better chances to win than during any previous T-H Marine giveaway. To enter, start by "Liking" T-H Marine on Facebook. Then look for official contest messages, stating the daily prize announcement and what is required to enter. Most entries will only require a comment on that day's Facebook post, but additional entries may be counted if an entrant likes the post and shares the post publicly. Entrants can also "Follow" T-H Marine on Twitter and "Follow" T-H Marine on Google Plus to get additional entries. Sharing and liking across each social media channel will then increase an entrant's chances at winning. T-H Marine Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/thmarineteam Good luck!
  19. Whelp, I suppose that means you'll be back on the water by summer. I'm glad to hear the prognosis. It could've been much worse. You can do this.
  20. Prices continue to hover around $2.30/gal in my area. Been that way since summer.
  21. That's not a fair statement. I'm not in that profession, but I fully understand exactly what OPEC is doing, and why, and it's affects on the U.S. oil industry. I saw this coming over a year ago. While it's nice to see low gas prices for a change, I also cringe because not only do I know it's impacts, but also know it's temporary. All that from some dude that's not in the industry. Fancy that.
  22. ^^ This ^^ Those low prices are designed to drive U.S. production out of the market, and bring back its dependancy on OPEC oil.
