Hey folks, only a couple of people have sent me pics. No pics = no video. So send me your pics today!

The answer for me is quite simple. I switch to a different lure/location when I lose confidence in the lure/location. For example, if you're confident there's a bass on that log, but I don't get bit on a spinnerbait after 5 casts, I'll switch to a worm. I'll make maybe 5-10 casts with a worm. Then perhaps try a buzzbait - one cast. And so on. On the other hand, if I know the fish are aggressively taking spinnerbaits, but I make 3 casts to a spot with no bites, I'll move on, but continue to use the spinnerbait. The iterations are infinite, but it's all based upon confidence.

I haven't tried it yet. I'm never one to try out X.0 or X.1 versions of anything. I wait until at least X.2 versions because by then, most of the major bugs have been worked out.

You answered your own question. You were "within inches" of the target. Therefore, the echo was so strong it was picked up by the other sensor.

Hello, I'm pleased to announce we've updated the Gallery to add many features and fix numerous bugs. This release adds many popular features including: * Updated flash player (flowplayer) from 2.3.4 to 2.3.7 * Added MPG, MPEG and MKV as media formats * Detail page updated to include: Like box, ratings, image author, album edit, delete and slideshow links. * Uploading into a child album now updates the cover images of all global parents. * Container albums show the upload button and the upload form suggests you create a new album, new album dialog has container album selected as parent * Member albums now REQUIRE a global album or another album as parent, you can't create them as 'root' albums anymore * Pagination added to 'recent images' block when viewing all member's albums. It also shows all user's images, not just the ones in their own albums. * Pagination added to 'recently updated albums' block on the home page. * Over 100 bug fixes Also notice on the rest of the site (outside the forums) there is a Gallery preview function in the right-hand margin. Member photo submissions are highlighted here. You can scroll through several photos, click on them, and go straight to the full size image in the Gallery. Enjoy!

There's a WHOLE lot more to this site than just the forums. All the software, dedicated servers, cluster environments, etc. add up quickly, not to mention a slew of expenses unrelated to hardware/software (like paying developers, designers, and freelance writers). There's also a HUGE difference between moderating a forum or two, and owning/operating a site. I'm not going to dive into all the financial details because, quite frankly, I don't owe that to anyone. But suffice to say, until you own and operate a site with the kind of traffic and complexities BassResource.com has, you're not in a position to challenge it.
