How to find big bass??
What corner of Washington do you live in? ??? FYI - bass fishing is open year 'round in Washington state. There is not bass fishing "season". Some of the smaller lakes are closed during the winter, but that's the only restriction. All the bigger lakes are open for bass fishing.

Need some fishfinder help.....
I manually adjust mine as the day progresses. Here's a good starting point: Disable "Auto depth range" Disable "Auto Sensitivity" Set the ASP to "Low" Set the "Surface Clarity" to "low" Select the sensitivity option and adjust this down to between 50 and 80 (may need to adjust throughout the day) Select the "Depth Range" option, and choose a depth slightly lower than your current depth. You'll probably need to adjust as the day goes on. Finally, exit out of the menus and choose "Pages" and set it to the split screen mode. That's it!!

tuning
Actually, before you start bending the eye, check to see that the hook hangers line up straight. Often times that's the culprit, and bending the eye merely compensates for it (while weakening the eye!).

catch and realease
Boy oh boy, we've been preaching this one for years. There's a ton of misconceptions and misinformation out there on the Web. Plus, there's a lot of misunderstandings and confusion on how selective harvest works. We've partnered up with the best in the industry on lake and pond management - Pond Boss. The largest issue for fishermen by far is the proper use of selective harvest. Consequently, we have a ton of articles on the subject. Start here: http://bassresource.com/fish_biology/about.html#fish and take in the information. It's really opened my eyes through the years, and given me a new respect for fishery biologists. Enjoy! World record bass..or is it????
Well guys, this is turning into a "who's right" / "who's wrong" debate. As we can see, everyone here has an opinion on this topic. And that's just what it is, opinions. Whether 1 person or a 1,000 people agree with you is besides the point. It's you're opinion. Let's not try to prove who's "right" or who's "wrong". Let's listen to, and respect, everyone's opinions here, because that's just what they are - opinions. Thanks!

help with boat buying
It's great that you're looking at the livewells. My old aluminum had a small livewell, and I had problems keeping fish alive. But I believe that was also due in part to the aeration system (it just sprayed water from a nozzle located at the top. I think a 20+ gallon livewell should be ok, provided the aeration system actually mixes the water around, instead of just spaying water on top. In addition, there are other things you should consider when purchasing a boat. Here's some articles to help you out: https://bassresource.com/fishing/a_new_boat.html https://bassresource.com/fishing/buying_first_boat.html https://bassresource.com/fishing/boat_buying_license.html https://bassresource.com/fishing/buying_a_boat.html Hope that helps!
