  1. Hey, I got a couple of these today and was wondering, has anyone used this? Is it one of those you can just reel straight in like a normal swimbait? Any info. about it would be a great help. Thanks.
  2. All true! ;D I was in that 75% that tries to lick their elbow.
  3. Both were made to resemble baitfish. You use a crankbait with a bill in areas with a lot of grass and wood, using a lipless will get you hung up. Cranks with a bill are good for woody areas because they deflect off of it and resemble an injured baitfish. Lipless cranks are great for open water situations such as fishing flats. Hope this helps.
  4. Wow bassbandit, great info. But I would use a jig n pig no doubt. Fun way also is to fish a live bluegill under a large bobber with a treble hook in the top of the bluegill. Just let the bait do the work, kind of like a self propelled swimbait.
  5. Soft sugar cookies with icing on top and a glass of milk.
  6. You think about it, women are the best sales people. You get a good looking woman trying to sell something go up to a guy, the guy walks away with his pockets empty and his hands full. 8-)
  7. The right thing to do is to empty out your bank out and buy everyone of those things she has. This summer, I'll have to take a vacation to Israel and see what their all about.
  8. So it's a carolina rig, but with a bobber stop instead of a swivel.
  9. My favorite would be a lipless crankbait to cover a lot of water. Bass will kill a rat-l-trap. I also like to use a t-rigged zoom u-tale worm. .Twitching it very fast through the water. Spring is the best time to fish
  10. Not much to be concerned about, if you dont use line conditioner, get some. I like reel magic, I haven't tried the KVD brand.
  11. Look at it this way, Strike King is one of his biggest sponsors, so he will wear out how good the color is. I do remember seeing the tournament where he was catching lunker after lunker on the fat free shads. Sexy Shad is the latest craze in the fishing industry, just like when the chatterbait came out. I'm not sure how well the color works, never used it, I stick with Bomber.
  12. Bass Pro says they have the same great action and profile, but in colors that he designed. They are flashier than bombers colors. So same bait, but different colors. Both crankbaits have excalibur treble hooks.
  13. Could someone post a pic of this rig? Thanks.
  14. I'm thinking about trying it. When do you use it? Temp. here is in the 60's.
  15. Those fat free shads really are awesome baits. They are tournament winners.
  16. I retie my line after every couple of bass. But if your fishing a crankbait in a woody area, you'll want to do some retieing every now and then. It's easier just to not retie it, but you will wish you did when you have a lunker break off because of it.
  17. The zillion, super smooth and quiet. Little pricey but its worth it.
  18. Amazing undwater pictures! Great looking jigs! ;D
  19. Fishingmachine, he could be in michigan, or down in florida. Water temp. might be very warm. Still hasn't given much information :-X. Just curious, who is snapper g?
  20. It's easy to order from tackle warehouse also, shipping is quick and you can pay using paypal.
  21. I agree. Same thing with stores saying "seasons greetings". Merry Christmas everyone.
  22. Surveyor, im down in biloxi. Fishin, no problem with reds and trout, just want to lip a few bass. I have been wanting to book a trip to dreamstrike in the spring.
  23. Might be the way to go, I'll start off with it. Did you use a trailer?
