  1. I'll try it this Saturday in a local pond that is full of small bass. Who knows, it just might work. 8-)
  2. That's one of the things that tricked me.
  3. Maybe they are out of tune. You can't fix those screwed up "fishing lures". The Banjo Minnow System gets my vote for lures that don't work. I still can't believe I bought in to those.
  4. I have the same problem. Just like a kid in a candy store.
  5. Had a friend catch one that was about 9 pounds, I guess it can catch both quantity and quality.
  6. Hey, has anyone fished these for bass? I have heard of people using them for bass fishing instead of bream. Just wondering if anyone has had luck with them.
  7. x2 for the Costa Del Mar's. They are worth the money. I have a pair of fathoms I got a couple of months ago, and they are the best I have owned. 8-)
  8. This topic, along with the pictures of the bass in it, has convinced me to buy some. Just placed an order along with a few other things from ***. Can't wait to try them this spring.
  9. Has anyone had problems with this reel? I am wondering if I should buy it and need some feedback. Thanks.
  10. I was thinking about getting a couple for this spring, how do you guys fish them? Do you just let them sink some and just reel it straight back in?
  11. Yeah, I'm going to Dreamstrike over spring break. I have heard nothing bad about it, can't wait to go. I will have to give okhissa a try after reading up on the fishing there. I have a spro bbz-1 shad that I want to use when the water starts warming up to try to get a lunker.
  12. It doesn't surprise me, all of their baits are between $10-$20 at least. But I haven't tried it, might be worth the money.
  13. Sorry to hear about that, I'll be sure to pray his family.
  14. I saw that show too. Now those things are $5.69, but worth it.
  15. Click view all smilies at the left of where you type your post. Bass fisherman, about how long did that take?
  16. They should have it streaming on NFL.com, only 5 more hours, going to get some food started here in a while. ;D
  17. Well Blue Streak, I think the answer is obvious, jitterbugs are still great. After 3 pages of posts, I can't find really any negative feedback. The jitterbug is a lure that will never get old and go out of style. They have a 4.8 rating out of 5 on Bass Pro, and that's with 70+ reviews there. Everyone reading this topic that doesn't own, go out and buy one. It will be your best investment in bass fishing.
  18. Yes! They are still great. Went to a lake on vacation last summer to do some night fishing. It was the only bait I was catching bass on. They catch the lunkers too. It is the simplest topwater, just reel it straight in. My go to bait for night fishing.
  19. Hey, what do you guys have on the menu for Super Bowl Sunday? Cant wait!
  20. Jayman, thanks for the info. Have you tried dreamstrike lake? It's not free, but I hear it has some great bass fishing.
  21. Unfortunately, I haven't. Still trying to find one.
  22. Was looking like they were going to have it when they started coming back. But they ended up getting shut down. You might want someone to record the game for you. Arizona and Pittsburgh (when they win tonight's game) will be a great match up.
  23. I like zoom, but they failed on the speed worms when it comes to action. Just use the ultravibe speed worms.
  24. Does it still come on the Outdoor Channel?
