Fat CB SR, MR, DR cranks?
Are these discontinued? I can only find one for sale on the internet but it's a used one in Japan. Just curious if LC stopped production on them.

Bluegill Rat L Trap
Start painting more often, that thing looks great. I really like the stripes you did on it, they're different.

Flat vs. Gloss Finish on Crankbaits
Just my preference, I like a glossier finish. I know some guys like to use them. I've never given one a try before, so I can't really say how good they are. Maybe others who fish them will chime in soon

Flat vs. Gloss Finish on Crankbaits
I'm not too sure what difference having a flat finish will make on certain patterns. I assume their available just to offer us another type of crank to choose from. I personally don't care for them at all.

Lucky Craft Advantage?
They're worth it to me, very quality cranks that I have confidence in. Mainly a fan of their shallow cranks and pointers, not much on their deeper divers though.

a few from this week
Looking good, really like the red craw Spro

Buying question
I don't buy because of endorsements either. I'll buy a product if someone I trust has done well with it.

Custom Wiggle Warts
Here's a few Wiggle Warts I was working on this past week. Two were based off of Strike King's Orange Belly Craw and the other just a dark craw pattern. I didn't paint the lips on them so they can still keep somewhat of a "vintage" look. They're simple patterns but were fun to do.

Cranking Reel
Looking to buy a reel dedicated to fishing shallow to mid depth crankbaits. I don't plan on spending more than 250-300. Any recommendations on as far as what your favorite reel for cranks is?

Crappie and Fins
Tried a different kind of crappie pattern and also have been adding fins to the bluegill pattern. Let me know what you think.

Custom Painted Crankbaits
Automotive clear. But I don't spray it, I dip. Disadvantage is I can't do hinged baits with this method. Also, it's only a good choice of you plan on clearing about 20 cranks per batch. Otherwise you'll end up with a lot of waste.

H20 Xpress and Lucky Craft crankbaits same blank molds?
They are made in different molds. The RC has a pointy, narrower nose with more scaling details in the body. The CRS has a blunt, more rounded nose. What I don't understand is why people refer to the H2O CRS as a knockoff of LC's RC 1.5. There are a lot of square bills on the market and the CRS is just Academy's square bill. The two are similar in their designs, but the CRS is not a knockoff. If you hold the two side by side, you can see the RC 1.5 has much more detail in the body of the crank than a CRS. Both are very quality baits and work well. They're just made for different buyers, one's a higher end crank and the other a lower end.

Olive craw

New Natural Patterns
Thanks for the compliments guys. Dave, I had to put the airbrush down and hand paint the dots.

New Natural Patterns
Here's a few from this week. First try at Baby Bass. Not too satisfied with it, will be tweaking it the next couple of weeks. - - Here's a new one called Sungill. This odd colored sunfish/bluegill was hooked and he emailed it to me to see if I could match it. - - Finally I did a little extra shading to my Pumpkinseed to try and wake it up some.
