Like wagn said, I usually just buy the cheapest. The bass don't seem to mind. LOL

Any color will work, But I have been using black or black with blue and Gamakatsu Skip Gap Hooks. (PLEASE NOTE:) If the bass shallows the hook DO NOT remove it or you will kill the fish. Cut the line and the hook will rot. They normally inhale the senko so if your quick enough you will set the hook in the mouth area and save the hook.

Not a chance. There are a lot of big bass in there.

Put a hurting on them today. Caught 9 bass. Mostly 1 pounders, But a few little fellas. Biggest was this nice hawg. 4lbs 2oz. Another fun day. Here is a picture.

Got out tonight and ended up with 5 total. Biggest was 2lbs 6oz. I did catch a 1lbs 9oz. All fish were tight to cover and caught on Senkos. Nice seeing you out there Nashua Fisherman. Good luck in the tournament this weekend. I am going to try to fish up in Maine on my wifes uncles lake in between my son's hockey games. He told me there are some big ones in there, But I will be fishing from the shore so I'm not expecting anything. Here is a picture of the 2lbs 6oz.

Ya I would like to know where he fishes to. I went out last night and only caught one little fella. Not sure what is going on either. Going to try some new lures and different retreives and see if that helps. Keep the faith Bass_Tard things will get better.

I am heading to up to Maine this weekend for my sons hockey tournament with the family and my wifes uncle lives on Forest lake. How is the fishing there for Largemouth?

Well I convinced myself to go out today (Mill Pond) and I wish I didn't all I caught was one very small bass. I did not get out till 4:30pm and fished till 8:30pm. There was a guy out there killing them on the scum frog. I saw him catch 4 and they were not small either. I had one, But was to lazy to tie one on LOL. Now for fishing lily pads I suggest either a senko texas rigged weedless or fish next to them with a crankbait. Just don't throw the crankbait right on top of them. If there is no way to fish beside them then throw a scum frog. Hope this helps.

I did not bother to go out today, Wind would do me in. LOL

Is it a shallow flat? If it is I would go all top water. If there are any drop offs at fish them also ( use a jig or senko). Thats where the bigger fish should be. That drop off may only be 1 or 2 feet, But that could make a world of difference. Hope this helps.

Nice, bassmaster6. Alot of people got skunked today where I was. I did lose a hawg today, But still managed 2 bass. Fishing was tough with the wind, No excuses though. LOL

I lost one of my favorite jigs today myself. I guess the bass took the holiday off LOL.

Hey, I did not have a good day today either. Don't give up. What I do is say it was fun just to try and get out on the water. After all we are not pros and even they have bad days.

Got out today again early and didn't do as good as usual. I only caught 2, Biggest was only 1lbs 4oz. No excuses, the bass just beat me today lol.Anyone catch any hawgs?

The biggest bass was 3lbs 6oz, I also caught a 2lbs 13oz (which I thought was a 5+ pounder by the way he fought) the other two were little fellas. It was has another good day all and all.
