How do you foil swimbait? Im planning on trying to make a swimbait and saw a foiled one that looked really cool! I was wondering how you actualy foil a bait?

I know that 25 isnt thin I just want to get the thinnest 25lb line I can. I need heavy line for swimbaits. Does braid do well with swimbaits?

Im looking to get some 25lb mono and want get the smallest diameter mono line for easier casting.What would you guy's recomend?

Would this rod work for small(up to 2oz) swimbaits untill I get a better rod?

I havent used live bait very mutch but I do know that it calls the fish better then any crankbaits or jig! Sometimes when im fishing ultralight ill have big bass sense they vibration of the bluegill and try to eat it lol. What setup do you use for livebait?

Im going to be going to lake amistad the first week of june and was looking for some advice on lures and are the fish usualy deep when it gets hot or does it all depend on weather?

Thanks! does the rod sound about right for plastic swimbaits? I dont want to buy an 150 dollar rod just for swimbaits.

I saw some 2 dollar cotton corells at walmart lol so I bought a fat crankbait and a jerkbait the jerkbait sucked(no suprise it was1.97 lol) But the action of the crankbait wasnt very bad and I even caught a fish anyone else use these?

6500c it holds 230yds of 14lb test

Would a 7"6 Heavy action lightning rod with an abu6500 be a good setup for 6-9 inch soft plastic swimbaits with 1/4(mabey more) ounce weighted hooks or do I need a 5500 sized reel. Also im thinking about 17 pound florocarbon.

Well thats good I just bought a ton of them lol they sound like a good bait to fish in alot of places ;D
