so today i went out to the water with a 4 inch senko. i was out there for about 2 hours but only caught i small bass? usally people catch more than one in that amout of itme with a senko. i just want to know what i did wrong. and thoughts?

I was going to get the yo-zuri hybrid ultra soft line, but cabelas didnt have it in stock. so i just picked some other cheap line hopoing it would work. would this line work?

i would be afraid i would get caught doing fishing at a golf course.

Well i havent fished in about 4 years, so i need some help. i was wondering if my current (old) set up would work for fishing with 4-5 inch senkos. My set-up: Rod: 6Ft. 6 Inch Shakespeare UglyStick Reel: Quantum XR3 Line: Zuri 275-Yard Hybrid Ultra Soft Line Clear - #6 Hooks: Gamakatsu Octopus Circle Sz. 4/0 ???

So i havent fished or touched my fishing pole in about 4-5 years. i am looking to get back in it and i see that my fishing pole reel is a QUANTUM XR3. now i dont know anything about reels, and i was wondering if that reel would work for me to bass fish?

Does anyone have one of these lures, and if so are they a good lure to use. i am thinking about buying one of these, but i just want to make sure that they are a good lure to invest in. also if someone does have this lure any advice for what size and color to get? and just to let you guys know, i am new to bass fishing, so put things in newbie terms, thanks.

Hey guys, I am new here as you can see. I used to fish a little about four years ago, but since then i havent even touched a fishing pole. but now i am trying to get back into bass fishing. basically i am what you can call a newbie to bass fishing. i live in austin texas. any advice will be great. just to let you guys know the main lures i am going to use (because i havent started fishing yet) is 4" senko rigged wacky style. another main lure is the new rapala x-8 lure. let me know if that is good for a begginer.
