  1. I've bought mine from Tacklwarehouse.
  2. Academy just released these crankbaits and a few other models of baits in this tilapia color. They look pretty good.
  3. haha thats pretty funny.
  4. I was not trying to ruffle any feathers, I guess the bodies of the bait resemble other cheaply made baits I have seen in the past or maybe I just don't see the bait as practical. It may just be that I consider $15 dollars to high for a bait like that considering they are charging JDM quality prices for a bait I'm sure doesnt cost that much to produce. But, its someones design and someone elses company, therefore I'm not going to knock it until I fish it. :D
  5. Lucky Craft Staysee and Pointer.
  6. You could always get Oscar Meyer to wrap your boat....Then you could be fishing on a floating weiner.
  7. Looks a lil gimmicky to me.....not to mention the crankbaits look cheaply made. I cant image how the crankbait could work right and wiggle with that large hook hanging above it. Seems to me it would get in the way of the action. Just my opinion though.
  8. Academys H20 house brand has a few baits in Tilapia color. I own one of the lipless cranks in that particular color. You may want to look into those.
  9. Check your local Dicks Sporting Goods. They have their Excaliber Lures on sale 2 for $5. You can load up on Fat Free Shads, Guppys, Fat Free Frys, and other good crankbaits that catch fish. I also second the H20 Academy Brand baits. Be on the look out for their new Bluegill and Shellcracker crankbaits.

I seen that the other day....I stocked up on Lizards and Flukes for the spring. They also had Sizmic Toads for 61 cents a bag. I bought an aresenal of white and glimmer blue ones.
  11. It may be alittle early for topwater, but with 55 degree water temp, they should be crushing a jig or a redeye shad, as well as a spinnerbait. Also, texasfishingforum.com is usually up-to-date with current info for the current lakes in Texas. Check there and see what is goin on in Big T.
  12. Blasphemy ;D :
  13. agreed, although they will catch fish occasionally
  14. senkos, tubes, and dropahot
  15. I mostly go to the one in spartanburg. I'm sure I have seen you in there. ;D
  16. They came out later in the year than most people fish a swimbait. Wait til this Spring. I will post some pics this spring
  17. Luckyslab........are you going to the Academy in Spartanburg or Greenville.
  18. I bought a couple friday and tried them out today. They run true and are made of pretty good components. They have a few new crankbaits coming out that will feature the redear sunfish color and the bluegill color also.
  19. So a "SCROUNGER" jighead would be a good option then? yes
  20. Im in SC. I'm from Jonesville, SC near Union and Spartanburg. But I go to school in Clinton at Presbyterian College, which is a rock skip away from Lake Greenwood.
  21. These are 1 time use discount codes for Tackle Warehouse.. http://www.***.com/malone/ or... http://www.***.com/team use code: cnors
  22. I had a chance to throw mine friday and they are floaters. They do have a unique action in them. There a lil larger than I imagined but with that wide swing they have when jerked I can overlook the size. They definately are a unique jerkbait. Within about 2 months when the Jerkbait bite is in full swing we will find out if they produce.
  23. He also got me for a Revenge Buzzbait and a Ima Roumba. Looks like I need to come down with Raul to mexico and give some of those "south of the border" bass a little southern hospitality. ;D
