Falcon lowrider or Team All Star???
i own both a all star and a lowrider. the falcon to me is a much better rod. i almost just bought a new low rider recently but ended up going with a mojo. i love my lowrider over my allstar.

Toyota Eastern Fishing and Hunting Expo, what did you think?
i ended up buying a new mojo 7' heavy fast rod from northern bass which got me a free lucky craft live pointer 95 mr! buy the rod get a lure and a free st croix hat. when i went with my family to get the free hat, ish was at the st croix booth and my wife and I talked for a while with him. he was very nice and full of info. i thought it was fun. i had my 2 year old son and my 7 month old duaghter and they had there moments but over all were good.

Dobyn rods vs daiwa?
so how does the daiwas stiffness compare to the st croix premier 7' heavy. i am thinking the mojo i fish alot of this lake near me in Massachusetts called lake rohunta.its a weed choked lake with thick grass in the middle along a channel and lily pads on the edges. its a long narrow lake with little boat traffic. i love it! i just dont want to make a bad decision on this frog /heavy cover rod. i threw alot of horny toads last year and was fishing them on a all star 6'6 med rod and missed alot of fish.i am using suffix 30lb braid on a cheaper pflueger reel. so i went out and bought a new summit reel 7:1:1 reel and want to paired it up with a good stiff frog rod. i am between the mojo frog and slop, a falcon low rider lfc-6-17 7" h fast , and the daiwa frog rod. i love my other low rider 6"6 med/heavy but it just seems that the lcf-6-17 is just a little too light in comparison to the other "frog" rods? i am willing to spend up to$150 but just cant decide!

Dobyn rods vs daiwa?
well i found the dobyns on fishermanswarehouse for $140 it is the 734c. so what didnt you like about the daiwa brokeju? what was the problem with the dobyns before? is this deal on fishermans warehouse too good to not take?

Dobyn rods vs daiwa?
ok i think i am down to these two rods. either the daiwa light an tough froggin rod or the dobyns champion 7' 3 heavy fast rods. i dont know much about the dobyns so i am looking for peoples input. this rod i will be throwing toads and frogs with. so does the dobyns lighter 10-20 lb. line rating make it less qualified for this heavy cover fishing?

Telescopic rods
hey brokeju how did you like the rod? was it worth the money? i am between the mojo frog and slop, the daiwa froggin, or another falcon lowrider. if i go by rod online specs i like the daiwa but have never owned a daiwa rod . i own a st croix and like it so the mojo seems like a no brainer.

Telescopic rods
so whats the deal with these rods? i am interested in buying the Daiwa TL-74T-5FB Frogging Rod and am wondering what they mean when the say its telescopic? does it lose sensitivity ?

better value frog rod?
i ordered the st croix 7' heavy mojo frog rod the other day and got a email telling me it is out of stock . the rod will be shipped to me in feb from st croix's factory. so i have been searching around and found on tackle warehouse the Team Daiwa Light & Tough Frog Rod. i have a st croix rod already and like it and understand the quality. i held a lt daiwa at the massachusetts bps and it seemed nice but have never fished it. so whats the deal and which is the better quality. i don't mind paying a little more for the daiwa if it is a much better rod.i still have time to cancel the mojo if the daiwa is worth it.

froggy setup whatcha think
yeh i usually fish the zooms and the yum toads and like the action of both. i tried the spro and had alot of blowups and a lot less hookups. i do wait most of the time to feel the fish though i sometimes get trigger happy. its hard not to when your watching the pads and a fish blows right up! now the mojo rod I am told is sold out, even though the website I ordered from did not state that. I now have to wait till Febuary to get the rod from st croixs factory. no biggie. the reel says it has 9lbs of drag which i would think it was enough? i was looking into getting the bass pro shops nitro combo and read on some sites that 16lbs of drag is a major over kill? now cant you , if you hooked a large fish and your reels drag starts to fail and the fish starts pulling line , use your thumb to turn the fish around? if so then the drag would not matter right? If I am wrong mabey i should have got the curado instead of the pflueger!

froggy setup whatcha think
i was fishing all my top waters and frogs last year on a allstar med 6,6 rod paired with a cheaper pflueger baitcaster and had a low hook up rate on fishing frogs. so i just went out and bought the new mojo frog rod a 7, heavy fast tipped rod. i paired it with a pflueger summit reel hoping this will make frog fishing a little more successful . any feed back on the summit reel would be great.

should i buy this boat??
hi i am new to bass boats and am wondering if this would be a deal? its a ranger 1983 320v with a merc 125. now the guy wants 3500 for boat motor and trailer. everything is working. one livewell isn't working but everything else is. now my one problem so far is the fact i dont own a truck. ive got a subaru Forrester 4cyl auto.. the manual says it will tow 1000lbs without trailer brakes and 2000 lbs with brakes. now will i be able to tow? and one last question i was thinking of getting into a club and tourneys, will the length of this boat stop me from tournament fishing?
