Ghost in House
Who would want tangina over Ghostbusters? Ghostbusters come in, they may blow up the place but when they leave stuff is done. Tangina, she comes in, men start peeling their faces off, coffins pop up in the swimming pool and hallway, and your entire house is pulled into the tenth level of hell. LOL. Sounds like a fun time man. I have been in a few houses, I have had suspicions about. There are those that have so much history in them, you can feel it when you walk into them. There have been 3 houses I have been in with such a feel to them. All 3 I was told by the owners afterwards they had suspicious events going on. I have not formed an opinion either way. I will say I have seen/heard things in homes I cannot explain in any way shape or form. As for the Scify channel Ghosthunters. I thought it was intriguing till I saw some outtakes that were on Youtube (not sure if they are still there, could not find them again to post a link), where they were pretty much making crap up.

Help me understand A.D.D
Stratos...while the ADD diagnosis is, IMO, overdone today, there are individuals who absolutely need these meds. I will tell ya, by todays diagnosis guidelines, I would be ADD and put on meds. When I was a kid concentrating was VERY tough. My issue though was not severe enough that I was able to overcome it and actually use it to my advantage. Now my bud, I mentioned on my last post, he absolutely needs meds. Without them he completely lacks the ability of focus. He and his boys are VERY severe cases. True ADD, when it is severe enough, is not something cured by putting the kid over your knee, in a corner, etc. it is way more than normal kid acting out things.

Tracker 2010 Targa V-18
You know, I have looked at this boat over and over at BPS...something about it just did not sit right with me. If I wanted all purpose I would look at a pontoon. they actually make some NICE pontoons. You can get a TM on them, get them shallow, with the deck where it is you get a good overall look at the water and they are definitely all purpose. I guess a good way for you to ask, what are you looking at it for? What type of water you hit? What specific features about it did you like and why? I mean I love my boat (PT 175) but there are a lot of guys who would call me insane for doing so.

Carpet On a Rowboat
I would look at Marine carpet (Lowes has it), there is a big difference between it and outdoor (big diff in price too). Then I bought the best outdoor rated carpet adhesive I could find. Made one heck of a mess with it at first too. LOL. But it held great. I guess it depends on how perm a job you are looking for here.

I say, better safe than sorry. You will never seal it then go back and say "Darn! There is so much damage. I wish I did not seal that."

Help me understand A.D.D
I have a bud who has it BAD and has 2 kids who do. Meds worked with him and his boys. They do not always and sometimes are given lightly. Couple things I would do, first before commiting the kids to a lifetime of meds, make sure (if you have not already) to get a second opinion. Once you commit to it, stick to it period. Do not take him on and off his meds like a medical experiment. As a teacher my wife has encountered parents doing this all the time and the kids grades suffer extremely. Cannot be good for the brain to turn it off and on like that either. Back to my bud, when he misses his meds, it is night and day. He cannot get any work done, his mind jumps from one thing to another, he says everything on his mind without going through the "mental filter". He has an EXTREMELY sarcastic sense of humor so when this happens, it is funny but it will certainly get someone fired/sued. That being said my bud works in IT consulting, he makes 6 figures, is EXTREMELY good at what he does. He has a loving wife and 2 great kids. So this is not a death sentence for the kid. Just one of those things he will deal with in his life.

What are you most happy about that you added to your boat?
I am with ya. Every boat needs a good set of wenches. LOL. I want side imaging next for my setup. I love what I got besides that. So side imaging and wenches...then ya got a perfect boat.

When did buying gas turn into an interogation?
Was thinking this today as I am freezing with snow blowing around me. Put my card in...1. What is your zip code. Put it in, press enter. 2. Would you like a car wash? No. 3. Would you like to buy a prepaid phone card. No. 4. Would you like a receipt? Now this is only 4 question but I am freezing, and in a hurry, can they not put a "Shut up and let me pump my gas!" button? Nothing of any depth to this post, just wanted to vent....

Do you travel to the lake with boat key in ignition?
LOL. I am way to paranoid for that. Probably don't need to be but I am. My key stays with me. It does not go into the ignition until someone is in the boat. I just have thoughts of some jughead jumping in and tearing off with the boat and insurance would say it was my fault cause I left the keys in there.

Looking at a boat need help.
Definitely need to take it for a test drive. Would you buy a car if you could just listen to the motor running in the garage? You do not know a boat till you get it on the water.

15' tracker topper jon
Inspect the transom carefully. I had a 14' and the only thing i ev er had wrong with it was the vibration from the motor caused cracks on the transom along the bottom and top. The transoms in those were horrifically reinforced.

Drug Problem
I think having 4 daughters is causing my hair to turn gray and thin out, it'll be gone I think about the time the first one hits her teens.

Favorite Beer
Depends on the situation for a hot and steamy southern day outside, I go Coors lite. When it is cool and dark (like after work in the fall or spring) Bass goes down nice. When I am indoors at a family party or something liek that Yuengling is good

It's called a Killer Whale for a reason...
You'd think they could ship/sell it to an aquarium or zoo where it would not be used for shows and have extremely limited interaction with people. Not a bad point you raise but now we enter economics. How much longer will this whale live and does the cost of new housing justify the expense? After 3 episodes of tragedy and me being left of liberal on almost everything, I still support the death penalty in this case. Yeah the dumb idiots put the animal back in after the first one.Much less it happens 2 more times...LOL "Stupid is as stupid does" let's see, what do they call it when you do the same thing over and expect different results?.... : I would think that there would be another aquarium that would take it. Since Sea World owns the animal they should pay for the relocation. You are responsible for the actions and care of you animal, dog or Killer whale. Seems this animal does not have killer intent. If it wanted to kill her it could have torn her in half. It may have been playful or ticked off and of course what would be a little nudge to another killer whale would crush every bone in a human body.

What's the funniest thing you ever saw?
Alright, I heard this but got the visual from my father. I grew up on a town on the Erie Canal. My dad had a 21 ft after cabin cruiser and occasionally we would take it down to the dock and sort of camp down at the canal. My small town had its share of nuts. First thing in the morning there would be a handful of extremely mentally unstable homeless folks who would sneak around taking empty cans out of trash cans and boats for the deposit. At the end of it all they would go to McD's. So this one day, they come back to the dock after their McD's trip (from here on in I was in the cabin and could hear it while my father watched). One guy has a big mac, one a fry, one a Coke. The idea had been they would share. Instead these guys start a battle royal against each other, swearing, throwing haymakers (very poorly aimed ones). and finally they get into a 3 guy man pile and arm wrestling around for the meal, they all roll right off the dock into the canal with their food.

Got a couple of decking questions
the 4 inches can make a difference in the stability when fishing form a raised deck. If you are dead set on building one, wait till you can get on the water, see if you can't rig something up temporary and take it out (stay near the shore and be prepared for what you will do if you fall in). I know guys who could stand up fishing on a log without any problems. I also have had guys in my PT 175 that feel shaky so it depends on your personal balance and comfort level. I would however not expect it to be as stable as your buds.

Frank Mir is pretty brutal.

Do You Drink While on the Water?
I understand the feeling (nothing better than a nice cold one in a spring or fall night on my deck after work) but ironically at least on my lake the night time you need your wits more than daytime. Too many inexperienced and ignorant folks with REAL fast boats, and no knowledge or thought of others out there, their limited line of sight, or even a slight recollection of the large amount of debris on Wylie. Course now, that's what DD's are for (Designated Drivers...get your heads out of the gutter)

Is it dangerous to take a small boat on a big lake?
lol good point...so did Titanic, and it sank in good part due to the mentality of its captain.

Is it dangerous to take a small boat on a big lake?
I have seen very small boats on Erie when I went out before. The smart ones, stayed close to shore/launch. Part of that is Erie is temperamental and can change moods in a hurry. So I would say, you can be safe on the lake IF you take baby steps, get to know its character first under different conditions and do not push it.
