  1. tight wobble. Seems like it makes good sense!
  2. You think using a small jig with a worm for a trailer like a 7" power worm, would do to good?
  3. I like to use Double Blade Buzzbaits on windy days, or when the water is deeper the 10 feet, the extra sound lets the bass know it's their and they will come out looking more it, so i make long casts and reel slow! If I'm fishing in sallow water 2 feet or less, on days with very little wind, I'll use ones with 1 blade, and if that don't work than I'll let the fish tell me, first I'll use a clacker buzz, and of that still don't get 'em, I'll use a bait with two blades. But if I'm fishing in water with 2 1/2 feet or less of visibility, I'll use a buzz that's load, the loader the better. Bass in waters with low viz levels will be much more sound oriented than site oriented, but than we'll have to get in to color. Good fishing!

I rig them weedless with a screw on, 4/0 hook. Fish it like you would a slug-o, and if you havn't used a slug-O, than you cast 'em and twich 'em, try to get a walk the dog action out of 'em! Good fishing!!
  5. Why do you ask? Why dose it matter? :-? Great responce. Do you feel like you are being attacked ? Why do you ask? No just kidding! Nop, don't feel "attacked".

  7. Well, is south Fl. it night as well be summer! air temps are in the mid 80's to mid 90's!! Water temp's are in the 80's, so you can still use the same summer lure and tactics you could as if it was summer, frogs etc. I won't bring out the "big" baits in late October, such as 10 inch worms, and musky spinnerbaits!! But in a month or so, during our first cold front, I'll switch over to salt water fishing for blues (I'll still do bassin' just not a much)!
  8. What do you look for in a spinnerbait? :-? :-?
  9. are Reaction Strike Killer B any good? They look nice, and are pretty cheap! :-? :-? :-? :-? :-? :-?

  11. Saw them they looked cool, but how do you rig them?
  12. I used 'em once but they got torn up to easy!
  13. Most of the time when I'm throwing a spinner bait, I'll be using a willow blade as a main blade with a number 2 Colorado as a secondary blade. I also like to use Oklahoma blades more than i used to. Spinnerbaits with Oklahoma blades are hard to find, so I'll get some redfish in lines with Oklahoma blades and do a la switch! ;D ;D
  14. I'd like to, get in to swim baiting, but all the ones i see are like 20 to 50 bucks! So could some one advise me a cheep, yet effective swim bait, that's under 10$. it would be nice if it was slow sinking and had a weed guard, but not a necessity. :-? :-? :-? :-? :-? :-? :-? :-? :-? :-? :-? :-? :-? :-? :-? :-? :-? :-? :-? :-? :-? :-? :-? :-? :-? :-? :-? :-? :-? :-?
  15. I like frog and spinner baits.
  16. http://www.***.com/descpageSWMFISHARRHDTLOBINA-FACJ.html# I looking at frogs to buy, and i came crossed this, the fish arrow cover jack! Looks really good! But it pricey! So i wanted to know what you guys thought. Is it worth it? Or should I stay with my SPRO and River2Sea, frogs? :-? :-? :-? :-? :-? :-? :-? :-? :-? :-? :-? :-? :-? :-? :-? :-? :-? :-? :-? :-? :-? :-? :-? :-? :-? :-? :-? :-? :-? :-? :-? :-? :-? :-? :-? :-? :-?
  17. Good for her, and good for you, lets hope she grows up to be a great fisher man like her daddy
  18. why do people like to use reels with lower gear ratios when fishing with crank bait? If you ask me, it would make more sense to use one with a high gear ration. Could some one give an explanation here?? :-? :-? :-? :-? :-? :-? :-? :-? :-? :-? :-? :-? :-? :-? :-? :-? :-? :-? :-? :-? :-? :-? :-? :-? :-? :-?
  19. Welcome to BR! I've gotta say they my favorite bait it a Stanley Floating Ribbit frog, I love at top water bass bite!! The reason I like the floating models is because the frogs aren't to heavy. So what I do to get a longer cast is add a 5/0 weighted hook. The reason i use the weighted hooks with the floater, is so i can cast it far and the bait will still the bouncy so that I can reel it with out having to "burn" the bait to get it to stay on the top, but i can still let it sink under the water a few inches after i come of a weed mat. (still have not used a hollow body frog)
  20. I like to pop the bait twice lightly, let it site of about 5 seconds, than do 3 hard pops. On "choppy" days, pop the bait harder, than you would on calm days, so on calm days, pop it lighter.
  21. When I'm going to the usual hole, I bring a frog, and T-rigless worm, ( ) and a spinnerbait. But, i can only bring 3 poles, (2 casting, one spinning) I don't have a boat some I'm VERY limited to a few pole and a box. (most of the time i'll have some spinnerbaits, a buzzbait, slug-o, some a soft plastic jerk baits, and maybe a crank bait and a (hard) jerk bait.
  22. Agree. Certainly. Absolutely. positively! Indeed 4-Sure yupster!
  23. I like to try new spinner bait colors, so as you mite think , i have about 5 BIG boxes full of spinner baits that are all different colors. But one color I've never seen or used, is baby blue! Anyone seen this color (And if any one wants to know, chartreuse and black is by far my favorite color!!)
  24. I a lover of a chartreuses spinner bait, so I would go with Green Sunfish Sidearm, but other wise I would use Chrt/Blue Back Sidearm, just because I have never seen a spinner bait in that color .
