  1. How hard to setup? And does Humminbird offer a in hull transducer for their side imaging capabilities? Thanks!
  2. Awesome thanks!
  3. What are some good color schemes for alewives? I have never fished in a lake with them but planning to. I really don't know that much about them. Any advice or tips would be appreciated.
  4. Welcome! I'm in Salisbury NC fishing the Yadkin Chain.
  5. Welcome! I'm in Salisbury and fish the Yadkin chain.
  6. Welcome! I fish the Yadkin chain. High Rock, Badin, Tuckertown, Tillery. Never been to Norman. Would love to go. I may be fishing the BFL next year and the first tourny is at Norman. Maybe we could possibly get together and fish.
  7. Can anyone tell me if the Spro 4" BBZ-1 Swimbait is out yet? I heard it was released mid-October but all websites are saying pre-order. Can anyone help me out? Thanks.
  8. All the fish including one smallmouth were caught in the Yadkin River. The Yadkin River flows in High Rock lake, then Tuckertown lake, Badin lake, Falls lake, Lake Tillery, then out to somewhere I don't know. The Yadkin River, I am fishing about 10-12 miles upriver from the main lake of High Rock lake. I am in Salisbury NC. Mostly sumerged stumps, fallen trees, brush along the river as far as I can go and small rock to large boulders through out the river bed. I try to concentrate on the few rock ledges/bluffs that are in the outside bends of the river. The river is mostly 3-7 feet deep. Once you get to the rocks they shoot down 10-26 feet in places. All of the rock bluffs/ledges I have found have slow to moderate current hitting them, being the outside bends of the river.
  9. Shaw Grigsby - He looks like he's out there just having fun. He's excited about the fish. And it doesn't look like an info-mercial. My opinion.
  10. That's what is hanging me up. The coloration. Every fish chart I've looked at points to spot. But the markings don't match up.
  11. Welcome! I have fished in Iraq in front of Saddam's Palace in Baghdad. I wouldn't sugest eating those. US Army. We used a stick, string out of some 550 cord, a safety pin for a hook and MRE meat. Ugly little critters. Anyhow, welcome!!! I am from Salisbury NC.
  12. Instead of asking about the whole spotted bass stuff above. I moved it to the "General Bass Fishing Forum" knowing this was the Smallie forum. Thanks for help! http://www.bassresource.com/bass_fishing_forums/YaBB.pl?num=1225252598
  13. I caught this bass in the same location as these other two fish. I am pretty positive this one is a spot. The markings help out on this fish. The other two don't have the markings. A friend at worked mentioned that possibly all three are spots and maybe the difference is male and female. Any thoughts?
  14. Here is a picture of the lighter bass in the pictures. They both had the tooth patch on their tounge. I took a picture of the inside of it's mouth just so I could reference to see what kind of bass it was. I ran my finger over it, it's definately teeth.
