Hey guys, sorry about the delay. Got sick on Friday and was dead to the world. Still sick, but back at work. I have been using it for 2 seasons now. I bought a 1/4 lbs spool of the 6lb test and I love it. I use it mostly for leaders but I had two spinning outfits lined up with it. Very low memory, super, super strong and invisible.

The box has arrived. Wife just called me at work to tell me. Gonna ship back out tomorrow! Can't wait!

Nope, never. I grew up fishing Oneida lake, Lake Ontario, St. Lawrence seaway, Skaneateles lake and some Finger lakes fishing. Pretty much fish these now as an adult with several smaller waterways that I have found over the years.

I agree 150%. The community around here is just that, a community. There are always the bad egg, but they are few and far between around here. It is nice to go and talk about the things you want to talk about. Not having to waste more than half your time defending yourself from meaningless attacks and idiots with nothing better to do than stir the pot. Thanks to all here. The stuff has great molding and sculpting properties as well as the ability to be sanded and painted. Has anyone tried using this stuff to make a hardbait? Just an idea I came up with while brainstorming.

Also, how long of a "set time" is it?

I had things to do around the house so I didn't get very far, but should be able to have it painted and at least 1 coat of clear done today. I will post pictures later today of the stages. Priming was not too bad, aside from the occasional bug or finger print, it only took sanding the primer twice to get a good primer coat. Let it dry overnight. Tonight I will just rough the primer up slightly and lay in color. Now the fun part!

Bluesky and Simp, Thanks for the heads up. It is a fairly new technique and I have only used casting reels for one season now. I have 6lb and 4lb fluro that I use for dropshotting so I just used what I had, I will pick up some 15 as you guys suggested. Sadly my season has wound down. Got one more trip to fish for smallies and then done for the year, dog gone northeast weather. So I will be doing a lot of practicing and painting lures over the winter.
