  6. Yea thats what I was thinking but if so it would be very very rare as we dont have smallmouth in tuscaloosa,alabama or really anywhere around here...Someone told me a mean mouth smallie/spot mix....

  8. you will have to experiment with it as you dont want to go to big with the hook and take away from the action of it
  9. I would also try a floating worm (trick worm) riged weedless and cast it to the back of the grass and just jerk it a couple times and let it sit maybe try the same with like a fluke...good luck
  10. Also with those frogs I dont know how long of a rod you are useing but if you are getting them as far as you say then your just not getting a good hook set....I would go with a longer rod for the frog!

  15. Dont have one yet but Im sure eventuly I will think something made me have a bad day on the water that I can blame it on! ;D
  16. 5 to 6 is big anything over that is huge!
  17. With those ribbit frogs its not like a buzzbait where when they take it under you can almost set the hook right away but with those frogs it takes some practice but i have learned when they hit it count to three or four before you set the hook.

  20. Have not tried wiley x but have tried ock's and costa's and costas will let you see things in the water you never could have seen befor1
