recomendations on a fishing trip to southeast in march??
You can't go wrong in the south east, some of the best places in the world to fish for largemouth, catfish, tarpon and reds. Lake Lanier used to be a great place to fish but last I heard it was still pretty low. Louisiana over on the West bank has some really good bass fishing, or you can go down to the orange groves in south Florida and catch some good bass. If you had the finances and time I would go down to south Florida and get in some of those inter coastal's that way you can fish for all kinds of species in brackish water. Just a suggestion.

Hey Tand was wondering how you mounted the wood on the front, the ones that are laid against the bench seat. I want to do something similar but not sure how to fasten the wood against the bench, my bench is enclosed all the way around so I cant get in there to put a nut on the bolt.

Eagle Cuda 168
I read one complaint that the unit had taken on some water condensation under the glass on the screen.

Oh great Catt, how do you like yours? Where did you mount your transducer? I am thinking of putting mine on my trolling motor, I have seen a lot of people that put them on there transom or hull and it doesn't work very good because of engine turbulence. I would be interested to see how you mounted yours.

Was wondering if anyone had this fish finder, I can't figure out if it needs AA batteries or if it just runs off a 12v battery, any help would be great.

my first tourney
TXbass Thanks for the reply partner, we fished 9 hours both days and I loved every second of it, got to ride in a $35,000 boat, and came closer to God than I ever thought possible, there is just something tranquil about throwing a crank bait early in the morning when the sun is just barely peeking over the horizon, you can just barely see the water from all the fog rolling off the lake. I can't think of any other place I would rather be.

my first tourney
Fished in my first organized tournament, not a lot to talk about drove up to Lagrange, GA. Fished West Point lake a beautiful lake all the sweet gum trees were red and yellow. Caught three nice size spots on a finesse worm (Watermelon seed). fished that d**n Carolina rig all weekend (my first time) didn't do to well. I actually did catch a sunfish on it, who would have thought, but had a great time, looking forward to next month as we head to lake Oconee.

need help with electrical work
Hey everyone, I hope this is the place to post my problem. I am trying to wire my trailer lights to my truck, I have a 2005 Saturn Vue, the wires were already looped in the back of the truck. So supposedly all I have to do is cut the truck wires and splice them to my trailer wires. My truck wires are as follows coming from the owners manual. Green (right turn signal) Yellow (left turn signal) brown (stop lamps, I think this is brake lights?) Light Blue (Parking lamps) Black (ground wire) My trailer lights came in a universal kit, with water proof tail lights, White (ground) Green (right turn signal) Yellow (left turn signal) Brown (brake lights) Does this sound right to everyone? I grounded the white wire to the tongue, green to green, yellow to yellow, brown to brown. Then on the back of the trailer I have the brown and green wires connected to the brown and green wire, on the other side yellow and brown to the yellow and brown on the tail lights. When I try this combination I get all random lights coming on at different times. I have had all the lights working just never in the right order. Sorry this post is so long, I am at my wits end and my pride is suffering. Thanks in advance, Jamie Calloway.

Rhino Lining vs Carpet
Hey guys, I am new to the forum but just wanted to reply to this post. I just recently bought a 14'36" jon boat, it has a very small decking on the front, but for the most part is just open on the floor. I went to Lowes and bought some black indoor outdoor carpet (not really marine carpet) it was very cheap. I did not put any plywood down on the floor, just cut pieces of the carpet out to fit in between the benches so now after I get home from fishing I can just pull the carpet out and spray it down with the hose, hang it up to dry and I am good to go. It is very comfortable on my feet and knees, the black carpet does not get hot at all (very important, I live in the south east) and I have yet to have my hooks get snagged. It's probably not the prettiest thing in the world but very clean, cheap and dos the trick.

Macon State College
Great idea Braden, I will make some fliers tonight, the problem is I am fairly new to Georgia and I don't really know anyone to help me get it started, and from my understanding it can be quite a job, did you guys take up any dues or membership money? I have one of the largest Bass Pro shops right down the road I wonder if they would be willing to help. I don't want to get out of hand, I guess I should just see how it goes.

Hey Braden, thanks for the reply but evidently there is no one here in my area that is interested, if I ever get this thing started I will keep you in mind for some suggestions. Thanks again.
