X-factor rods at Gander Mtn
I have one. It's a great rod and just what I was looking for. The rod has a short handle Fuji guides and reel seat. Its light has a foam split grip handle and is not tip heavy. I bought the 6'6" medium action spinning rod. The rod is matched up with a stradic ci4 1000. later

Why KVD?
KVD is a freak. He should have to use push button zebco reels to even the playing field.

Cumara VS. Loomis IMX
I have both and think the cumara is a better buy. The guides are better, it's lighter, and is cheaper.

Sad days in S. Florida
Sure. The grass that the carp eat is invasive. It's a compounding problem.

Sad days in S. Florida
The point is that some fish may be non-native but not be invasive. The fish that are here and are non-native may not have a big impact on native species i.e. grass carp. The Mayan cichlids and peacocks and tilapia have an impact on the native wildlife being invasive. Invasive fish out compete native fish for food, reproduce faster, and have larger amounts of offspring.

South Florida guys
I don't mean to be a downer but bring your small stuff. I have fished there more than a few times and from the bank its not that great. You may catch some fish but most will be less than 1/4 of a pound. If you are going to go to meet the people on the forum thats cool. It would be a perfect place for a meet and greet but just dont expect to catch giant bass.
