  1. Try p line. Cxx is floro coated. Nice sink, pretty good abrasion strength. 17 will work well, 20 if you are going with 1/2 oz blades
  2. Rode in an elevator with Denny Brauer when he was doing a seminar in Richmond. Dan Aykroyd running across a parking lot! He swore it wasn't him, very funny! Did some work at Al Gore's house and met Tipper! Also did some work at Ken Harvey's house too! I also met speedbead a couple years ago!!
  3. Get a manual for the outboard, if you are mechanically apt, you should be able to do all of those things yourself!
  4. Whatever jumped over the fence last breed rescue is the way to go!! Go online and look at all of the rescue groups in the area and go look at some! Don't be afraid to rescue an older dog, puppies are a huge responsibility. If you don't have the time to devote to a puppy, then an older (potty trained) dog is the way to go.
  5. Brutal, not my idea of a great day. I was happy the boat ran like a scalded dog!!
  6. From what I understand from those that have cooked them, not really a bad way to cook them!!
  7. I can do most of the same things with twitter and not have to deal with the bs that accompanies Facebook
  8. Use stoppers to keep the weight "pegged" to the bait.
  9. 3/16-1/4 bitsy bugs are a go to for me this time of year. Matched with a RI flirt worm ( small one ) and pull it down sunny 45* banks. It works!!
  10. Sounds to me like you are fishing the right stuff if you keep getting stuck! Like fly said, try pegging your weights and go with the lightest weight possible and still have a good feel for the cover! Getting your baits unstuck is a bit of an art, getting frustrated only adds to the problem. Just remember slow and steady wins the race!!
  11. Tried last Sunday, no luck. Spoils - 41*. Washington channel- 39*. Very windy, thank goodness we were in a buddy's 21' center console! Threw silver buddies, grubs, finess jigs, droppy. Graphed plenty, just no bites!
  12. Sounds like a good idea but I don't have Facebook and its not a good enough reason to start
  13. I remember my first tx, buddy tx on the res. Jon boat club, I was just as nervous as I get today about them!! I think that's what keeps me fishing them. All the energy and expectations, I love it!! Partner and I won, big fish as well, split $800!
  14. Wow! Slo that is a beauty! Love the color. Get you a cool save face or full helmet and you are gonna look like Darth Vader in that thing!
  15. With the level of professionalism these guys have, the smallest amount of info is invaluable. It could be the slightest change in presentation or color and its like a light switch and you have figured out the whole ball of wax that day! I have no doubt that Bobby had some chances on day one, his second day proved that. I don't think he was mentally hurt after day one, probably just made him buckle down and get to work. He would be right there if he had a good first day, same with Amart!!
  16. Hmmmmmmmm ........... I don't get it..........
  17. Nice job! Keep up the stellar work!!
  18. I wonder if they swapped info last year?!?!
  19. They will all catch fish, the best way to see which color will do well on your body of water is to give them a try and see what happens. The chartreuse and fire tiger colors have always done well in stained water!
  20. Very nice! Like you said it's tough to catch them from the sofa so get out and give it a go! I'm a mojo fan as well, to get a little more "feel" for the bites, jump up to some floro in the same test and you will be happy you did!!
  21. Fished Grand lake in the late '80's. massive lake, lots of stuff to throw to. Jb bite should be insane!
  22. Bill Lowen, because I pick him evey year!!
  23. Physical security specialist aka locksmith. Specializing in hard to lock fancy, shmancy doors that architects design without a clue as to how to keep the bad guys out! In the great state of Virginia, with lots of silly designers in the D.C area!
  24. It's probably true, I believe he did not eat the sprinkles............ if you ask me if I think he snorted them then we would be ok!
  25. You sir, have been spending way too much time indoors!
