I always have a tool kit somewhere in the boat. Never know when you will need some tools. <>< del

I jig fish a lot. I have 2 or 3 rods with differ jigs tied on. Each one has a differs color and weight and a different trailers. Daddy always said if you move it you are going too fast and use any color you like as long as it is BLUE! LOL. Also we "knock the wood." Pitch the jig and hit a cypress tree and let the jig slide down the tree. Usually get hit as it is sliding down the tree. Tie them on and fish them, they are fun to use and usually catch bigger fish.

I have been there and it is something to see. Very good lake. Fish are the prettiest colar green i've seen in a while. It is very deep and full of humps and channels. It will be a very good lake for years to come. I love it, it's only 27 minutes form my house, too!

I have an XR2 that has sat up for about 4 years. I had the stater rebuilt and works perfectly. I bought a new silinoid. Tried to crank it and the starter engaged the flywheel and turned it but the crankshaft did not turn I don't think. What do I check next? Any help would be appriciated. THANKS IN ADVANCE!

I put some Herculiner in my boat myself and it looked good but I guess i didn't prep the aluminum correctly because it is coming up and I am very displeased with it. If it is done by a pro a think it should be ok. just my thoughts!
