  1. I'm thinking about buying one of those prefab sheds, and turning it into my little tackle shop. I live in CT so I get the worst of most weather. Will leaving the rods, reels and lures be OK in the heat of summer, and the cold of winter? Will it warp or dry anything out? 95% of my soft plastics are in their original package. Thanks in advance for any input.
  2. Thanks for the info
  3. When the lure is stationary in the water is it supposed to sit vertically? Also any tips on how to work it would be great. Thanks in advance
  4. Anyone doing the TBF's 2day this weekend?
  5. I also use the Yum garlic scent. Perfect for those days that they just won't take it all the way.
  6. That is funnnnny. (Dock Hitler) We call him the golf car notzi. That guy can get me going. I only have about five minutes of patience for him, then I start talking crap. One day I was on candy with a friend and he had some boat problems. We started to drift next to this lady's dock and she came out yelling like a crazy women. She said you have the hole lake to break down, why did you do it in front of my dock. I was just like is this lady serious. So are other friend showed up to tow us and she is still going. Are other fiend who is really religious just looked at her and apologized and said don't worry Jesus still loves you. She just stopped yelling and went inside. You may have had to be their, but it was funny.
  7. For the favs, I love Lilly and Candy. The worst, Gardner and Zoar I also love Bantam, but they no longer have a state ramp.
  8. Their is two small lakes I like to fish in Shelton. One is Pine Lake. The other is on Nell's rock rd, not sure of the name. You can fish them both from shore or I have seen people with small Jon boats on them.
  9. What club are you in. I'm in SCBA. I live in stratford, and fish all over CT.
  10. I will be on vacation next week (16-22) and was wondering if anyone had a open seat. I am more then willing to pick up gas and lunch. I have all of my own gear, and would like to consider myself an experienced angler. I am also willing to travel up to an hour and a half. Thanks in advance. Ken
  11. Thanks for all the info
  12. I have a friend in Providence, RI that is new to bass fishing, and I'm looking for a small pond that he can fish from the bank. Thanks
  13. The entire lake is pretty shallow, but i did go to deeper water. I also tried slow moving baits. They were destroying senkos, drop shot, shaky worm, swim baits, and every thing else. I was catching bass, but not a limit.
  14. They definitely did not die out. I must have caught over 20 in six hours. Good Luck.
  15. This lake is full of pickerel. Is their anything they don't like? It seemed like they attacked everything before the bass had a chance. It was cloudy, rainy and the water temp was about 64.
  16. I have had good luck with the worms. try wacky rigging them on a drop shot.
  17. I just got back from the Toyota Eastern Fishing & Outdoor Exposition in Worcester, MA. Got to talking to all the guys at the Mega Strike booth, and Bassresource came up. Boy did they take care of me. Treated me like family. Some of the friendliest people I have met in a long time. It was not all about their products either. They were just a genuinely friendly group of guys. Thanks again, Ken
  18. They both look really good
